Between Pokemon and Fire Emblem, which franchise has fallen furthest from grace?

Pokemon. Three Houses looks very promising. Even if you don't like Fire Emblem Heroes, it's a solid source of quasi-official fanart for many characters that would otherwise go unnoticed.

The only thing Pokemon keeps doing well is the waifus. They know it, and that's why they'll release a gacha around them.

Gamefreak isn't interested in delivering a quality product since they know they can just shit on a plate and it'll sell millions.
ISIS is at least trying to work off fan feedback with each new release, but it seems like every game has to make major sacrifices in one department or another.
I think Pokemon is just blatantly more evil at this point.

Quality over quantity.
FE has a lot more waifus but Pokemon's generate more popularity.

They've both been mediocre overall, outside of 1 or 2 titles. Pokemon is just supporter by nostalgia and blind apologists now. At least Conquest had good maps and Three Houses is looking very promising.

I just realized that Conquest refers to both a Fire Emblem and a Pokémon game.

Pokemon by far. Fire Emblem, with all the waifu pandering that Awakening and Fates brought, still remains true to its roots and tries different mechanics that have a true impact in the gameplay, while Pokemon can't stop the cycle of shoving dozens of gimmicks to then be deleted forever in the next generation.

Comparing the next two games, 3H's gameplay looks pretty interesting so far and is obvious they have improved tenfold since the first time it was revealed, meanwhile Pokemon is ongoing the biggest shitstorm ever with how laughably bad SS is looking to be.

This comes from someone who has Pokemon as his favorite series, it is on a completely new level of shittiness.

Not all of the card's art is available online, at least not without the card's HUD. A good chunk of artists refuse to upload their shit, or they do at low resolutions.

Even then, having one more source of fanart that's also clean high res pngs without background is very good.

Yeah, but less people are aware that Pokemon has a spin-off based on Nobunaga's Ambition named Conquest. Pretty good game, honestly, but it wasn't made by GF.

Fire Emblem also has a card game, but it has the same availability issue.

And Pokemon Conquest wasn't even developed by GameFreak. Actually, the best Pokemon games haven't been developed by GameFreak, including Mystery Dungeon, that should tell you something.

Dropped many interesting mechanics after the fifth game, brought a couple back in the ninth, managed to finally have good sales with awakening and interesting maps with conquest.

Rather than saying that pokemon fell from grace, I'd say that it has been in stasis while Fire Emblem managed to change itself over time.

Three Houses, while graphically looks terrible, looks like it'll be good gameplay wise, along with its story.
S/S just look like shit.

Pokemon falls a few feet to the ground, while FE fell to the ground, got revived, ascended to almost being a good game and having characters in smash, and then crashed back to earth. Honestly the only good thing left in both are the waifus, and even then it's only a matter of time till they censored.

Fire emblem changed from being a tactical RPG to a generic JRPG. Also, waifushit thrown in
Pokemon is still the same shit like always, but it took a nosedive in quality after BW2

Fire Emblem has suffered from flanderization and casualization, but it still clearly has some effort and care put into it.
Pokemon is full on cash cow, and it's very clear that Game Freak will never listen to complaints or make any sort of attempt to improve the series.

Haven't played a Pokemon since B/W, but at least they haven't had localization issues (that I know of)
