Help me out here guys.
I'm playing as Leon and I'm about to go into the bossfight with Birkin. I'm on critical health and I've used up all of the green herbs that I had. If I start the bossfight, I'm dead in less that a hit.
Last green herb that I had was a solid 2 hours of gameplay ago. Am I fucked?

Maybe they were more rare and more concentrated game-talk when they rarely did appear, but the threads appeared only like once a week instead of multiple times a day like they do now. I remember trying to talk about RE7 in 2018 and just nobody cared. If you want to have big RE threads, you have to have them when the games are still new and everyone is still playing them. RE fans have never even been able to get a general going on /vg/ because there are too few fans that keep playing and keep wanting to talk about it. It always has to be smaller threads on Yea Forums

There's always healing and ammo to pick up in the boss area itself, and usually immediately before too. And good speed runners are usually getting through the entire game on the hardest difficulty without taking damage at all, so it's definitely possible for you to beat that boss without taking any damage either

That sounds a bit disappointing.
It was a bad choice in hindsight, but it seemed like things were a bit different in the PS1 original. I think something like the zapping mechanic could've helped the 2nd runs feel a bit less samey.

Claire's 2nd Run at least gives you the Quickshot army which has penetration and an extreme firing rate. You just have to deal with a low capacity and the slowest reload.
