I swear if they don't get Yamamoto back for 4...
Why would you want to do that? The game isn't difficult anyway and you want to trivialise it?
Looks weird.
that's pretty dope, i think wiimote is precision enough for this game though, given combat is a piece of piss anyway
still really hope that HD remaster is legit because gyro controls would be fun
Just play on hypermode doofus
feet
I like MP, but I wasn't a huge fan of the scanning. It's neat for when it helps you proceed, but just scanning every little bit of fauna and enemy is kind of annoying
when in doubt just scan the red icons and keep moving
unless you want the 100% - i guess it was worth it for the secret ending back in the day
man i can't believe this game was 2002, it still runs like a dream
This was a magical moment. Looking up into the rain was pure vidya kino.
>rain and steam cloud samus' visor
>you can see the reflection of her eyes when you shoot underwater
how the fuck did retro do it? turok ran and looked like shit
you don't get this good from miyamoto throwing chairs around
>Take some basic notes
>Twist and fuck them up in unrecognizable ways
>Apply a background drone of dark ambient tones
It's amazing. I think I can attribute my synth noise fetish to being exposed to Prime as a young man.
autechre worked on the first game
shame they'll never discuss to what degree
can someone post the controller profile files?
i dont have a discord.
>how the fuck did retro do it? turok ran and looked like shit.
the gamecube was the only console from that generation that could execute shaders on the fly and not loose any performance doing it because it had dedicated hardware just for computing shaders so no precompilation was necessary.
retro also saved a lot on memory by only keeping two rooms at any given time loaded.
in the second game they optimized this and preloaded connected rooms but didnt render them for faster transitions between rooms.
because the gamecube had quite the powerful hardware in it you could achieve a lot of fantastic things with it effects wise. its a shame the minidiscs somewhat limited the assets capabilities.
They got him for Samus Returns and he put out some quality stuff recently, the man's still got it

Fuck Grenchlers and Grenchler sympathizers
I imagine the open areas just have that fresh wet forest smell. The more compact areas smell like rotting wood though.
MP2 had some absolute bullshit enemies
good stuff
is there an article or an interview on this?
4 is going to be an interesting beast from a technical standpoint
i guess by then we'll have the switch "pro" variant
just as long as its locked 60 and preferably with anti-aliasing, it can look like a last gen game at 720p for all i care
>control hack
neat, but I'm still disappointed because when I read "primehack" I thought it was going to be like a romhack where they use prime and turn it into a new game with rearranged level design. Oh well.
I love how simple yet amazing the soundtrack is. Some simple beat like Chozo Ruins would stick in your mind for hours.
You guys are going to love this

you posted the wrong file
You're right I did like that, thanks user.
Synth sound breakdown videos are always neat.
>tfw you spend an hour trying to navigate through this fucking place only to reach the dead end where you need the gravity suit to progress further
Sorry. I am literal retard. This is played in Dolphin? Is it easy to configure? I never emulated a GC game before.
Fuck the haters, I loved Prime 3
Any Yamamoto track that uses extensive choir gets my dick hard
Sneed
which developer besides retro would you be comfortable with making a 3D metroid?
Unironically Fromsoft. Dark Souls 1 is very metroid like
