I don't think it's that unbalanced. Obviously there are some problems at the very top and bottom like in most games. But overall I think it's in a decent spot.

Match making sucks due to low player rate. The low player rate is going to be the thing that finally kills this game. Who cares how fun the core gameplay is when I get paired up with golds in ranked when I'm diamond due to lack of players.

To each his own then. I think the gun arm looks neat, and he's a blast to play.

It's low once you take into account all the inactive player who are just AFK on the main menu that steam chart counts.
Playing Paladins is like playing on a community server. I constantly see the same names every night when I play, and multiple times in a single play session. I have never got that same experience when playing TF2, OW, or even Quake Champions.

Don't played ranked then. No one in Paladins plays ranked, if you play casual you will never play the same player twice.

I mainly play casual. I still see the same names every day, multiple times in a day.
Funny enough I rarely encounter this problem when I do play ranked.

Damba is really cool too.
BK, Damba, Nando(more his personality that is visual design), and Koa are all great to me that I wish were in different games.
Same goes for Ana, Zen, and Rein in OW.

Who exactly are these types of designs supposed to appeal to? Too old and big boobed for lolifags while looking too young and cutesy for mommyfags. No major defining characteristics either, she's as generic as humanly possible.

Paladins is actually to its credit pretty damn good at the whole playstyle choice variety thing. You can legitimately play some characters in two or even three drastically different ways that are all viable and not just memes, at least outside of ranked (and you should never play ranked anyway)
A lot of people coming from other games or bad players in general however are the type who think that you HAVE to follow a specific team comp and HAVE to use a specific loadout cause that’s ‘meta’, but Paladins doesn’t really have to work like that, not a fraction as much as something like Overwatch or a MOBA where not keeping up to date with the meta is an instant loss.
I’ve won plenty of games with no healers by the team just being smart and adjusting their builds and playstyles with that in mind. It’s probably my second favorite part of Paladins after the softcore porn aspects of it, great player choice and replayability variety.
