Anyone excited for Binding of Isaac repentance?

Not him but it’s fun to break it, I’ve done everything you can in the game, but finding new things that work together is what keeps me coming back. I don’t know why I still play it, but I just shut my brain off and play after work.

Any tips for boss rush btw? I never seem to get a good run to unlock it, is it more of a stars align thing?

It’s all just rng user, just like when you feel comfortable fighting hush, you should make sure you can handle it. Boss rush isn’t hard by any means, but it’s always nice to have a good run going into it.

If you’re going for the mark for boss rush don’t explore, find your item room and rush to the boss, you’ll get it user just keep playing, eventually rng will be on your side.

Yes, though I haven't been playing the game as much recently. Once you unlock everything there's less and less drive to complete the game. Repentence should greatly reignite that desire.
Also btw, it was recently said that Repentance is currently slated to release in December, so there's your potential release month.

December was the most recent estimate given.
The only reason this DLC exist is because they literally hired the devs of the original Antibirth to do most of the work, so it's basically the devs making their mod official with Ed coming in a little bit later to do some of his own design work. After this, no more Isaac, "for real this time guys, I swear."

There won't be an end to Isaac dlc until we get The Binding of Isaac: Apocalypse

The holy items are some of the best items in the game and I don't recall the game ever mocking religion, just the mom who was a religious fanatic.

Well the game does have commentary on religion if you go looking into the game's messages, but I wouldn't call it anywhere near "fedora-tipping atheist" levels. The game never goes out of its way to denounce religion or anything like that, rather it's just a commentary on the pitfalls of religion. Look at it however you want, I suppose.

i stopped playing because afterbirth+ came out and i never got around buying it, and since repentance is coming out soon i might as well get both
i really want to keep playing, just not without the dlcs

Delirium was never OP, at all.
People didn't just get that you had to not stand still.
Anytime people died from the "unavoidable lock on teleport he does that insta kills you" the question was always "did you ever think of moving around"? and you got told "no"

It's fun and a much quicker playthrough than normal mode. I'm close to hitting 1000 on the greed machine again (it doesn't unlock anything a second time though) despite most characters breaking it after only a few coins due to how often they get used.

Legend of Bum-bo is a spin-off and Ed's dropped vague hints about an Isaac 2 once or twice.

What I mean is Delirium moves around, so you follow him/her to get shots in then you stop.
It's not a homing attack, it just has a chance to spawn where you currently are if you haven't moved. It's like Monstro's jump (or any of the other jumping attacks actually that home) except it's teleportation

I am one of the people who had mods of mine added to the game officially.
This was a thing Ed had announced far beforehand, that he would be looking at mods created by the community, picking the ones he liked, and get them added. When mods were picked, none of the creators ever got a notice beforehand, they just sorta showed up in the updates as a surprise, coupled with a blog post giving credit to the creators. Later on, they even added the mod creator's names to the credits, so my name is actually in the game officially now.
I just think it's neat, and I've never seen any of the other mod creators be upset by their mods being put into the game, so I never saw any harm in it. The only discontent I've seen is getting proper in-game credit, but that was resolved back in BP4. Now I can say that a dumb little mod of mine is in a game I love, and that's pretty cool.

It's because Big Horn used to have the same dumb damage armor mechanic as Hush did. On a normal boss. That armor would be disabled for a few seconds if you shoved a bomb into his mouth, but that's hard as fuck to do compared to Chub, since Big Horn don't move, barely opens his mouth for long, and you need to dodge those smoke balls first.

Will have to mod it in. Mudeth said awhile back he's still going to make new music for any new stages for people who would rather use his music instead of the 'official' Ridiculon tracks.

Apparently it's not being included in the game itself but there'll be a mod up immediately with an extended version of the anti soundtrack to have stuff for the new content and the stuff that wasn't made for antibirth
