What I'm saying is, would Fugo have participated in any fights if he joined Bruno after betraying the boss, or would it be like Kakyoin where he doesn't participate in any fights for the second half? Considering Fugo rarely brings his stand out, and he doesn't want to kill any bystanders with PH (unlike Green Day, where it's user was more than willing to kill everything in the area,) Fugo probably wouldn't have participated in any fights had he joined Bruno after betraying the boss.

Fugo HATED his stand because it was the darkest part of himself made form.

I know that, but you could still assume from that that he left afterwards seeing as that was presumably shortly after they beat Diavolo, what I don't remember is if there's any mention of whether he stayed in the gang or not, as I said I think there might have been, but I'm not confident about it.

Narancia death upset me in part 5 I felt it was unnecessarily cruel to have that happen to a guy who was so scared about betraying Passion in the first place.

Watching the anime has made me realize that Part 8 is actually the only worthwhile part. I don't mean this to disrespect the previous parts or Araki, but when you read Part 8 it becomes immediately clear that his entire career as a mangaka has built up to the character of Joushuu, and when watching or reading previous parts one can't help but ask the question "Why am I bothering with this when I could be re-reading one of the many classic Joushuu appearances in JoJolion?" and the truth is that there is no answer, and no reason to bother with anything that came before Part 8. Perhaps there is some value in those parts as a piece of history; a means to get a glimpse into the evolution of Araki's attempts at creating the perfect story and character before finally reaching his ultimate masterpiece with JoJolion and Joushuu Higashikata, but if you are to view Parts 1-7 as anything other than a piece of history, then you are no more than a nutty fool.

The last fight with dio is fucking great and the best fight in the series, and the ending of 7 is really weak, so it balances out in my head.

4 is boring as fuck dude, 5 is bad with a bunch of boring fucks as party members and no fun fights.
at least 6 has a bunch of creative stands, but I agree I should've put 1 higher.
