There's an equivalent to the Antlion Guard ripoff for the new map, and there's a flamethrower drone. There's also new boxes that have more focused items given there is a "damage" box. Procs scale with big damage attacks now, Artificer can hover, and only two new items are known: a white item that gives 20 barrier on kill for a small time, and the boss item procs homing projectiles.

Bandit is my favorite character in RoR2 already. Shooting feels good, chaining kill shots is satisfying, and invisibility chaining is extremely fun and has you thinking about either saving it for an emergency, or trying to chain it with cooldown refreshes to move fast. An extra button is just gravy.

He seems totally abandoned to me, and I personally don't really care too much because his kit feels really basic and not too distinct. I would assume that's why they stopped working on him amongst all the other shooters in the game, but if you think it's a faithful adaption then there's really no reason for them not to add him in with some crazy alt-skills way down the line.

Why is Gesture of the Drowned such a boring item? I don't mean it's a shitty item. But it's practically a win condition as long as you get one of the three damage on use equipment and becomes even more "You just win" if you get more stacks of it/fuel cells. I've been just outright avoiding picking up Gesture nowadays because there's no variance to builds around it. You grab it and then grab a damage equip or scope lens and you no longer have to sweat. I wish there were more toys to fiddle around with already.
