If you want one of them consider this: Super is obviously different, more like Valkyrie Profile but it's still a Neptunia game with the characters you know, while Varnir is the usual Galapagos RPG formula like Fairy Fencer F but with a new gimmick and a time limit for the true end to make things more interesting, so assuming you want one of these 2 and are ok even if they're quality is unknown just pick the one that inspires you more

I'm tempted to buy a different Complile Heart game because I love Nep. I know the gameplay is all mediocre but which has characters as memorable as Neps? Fairy Fencer?

It's not exactly a time limit like Atelier ones (with a day/month system). 3 of the main heroines have a dragon inside them (that's part of the backstory), if the dragon grows too much it ruptures out of their bellies Alien style and kills them permanently. The true end requires this to not happen. These 3 girls have a "mood bar" (don't know how to call it) and the worse the mood the faster the dragon grows, and you can give them food or pick correct dialogue choises to make them happy and slow the dragon's growth. But you can't stop the growth completely because every time you go into a dungeon, let them die in battle, or pick a wrong dialogue option their mood worsens and the dragon grows, so this is the "time limit" for the true end
