Honestly you can make flimsy justification for the BoS, the one that really makes no sense is the Minutemen. I remember completely securing the building. Every hostile entity was dead, and yet here we are blowing up a facility that could genuinely be the base through which the world is rebuilt. "Lets blow it up for reasons"

Nothing changed, New Vegas was just a miracle of people who actually cared about the Fallout universe getting to make the game, and so they put real effort in. Bethesda puts in as little effort as possible because they don't care about anything they do. TES VI is going to be complete garbage.

I like these ones where they bothered having the voice actors record extra lines for saying the exact same thing in slightly different ways.

That's actually exactly what they're doing though. Give you 4 different options, you can't see exactly what your character is going to say without that mod so you assume each response is unique.
