You are right, but I only want the series to slow down a bit, definitely not die. Honestly I have no idea how they even do it, Lulua is insanely polished in terms of mechanics and they said they shat it out in nine months. They could make straight-up masterpieces if they had two or three years available.

I enjoyed what Lulua did with Arland in terms of explaining the lore and having more story and references, although it was still building off a trilogy with very limited plot so there wasn't that much. It would be nice if they planned out a storyline spanning a whole trilogy from the start for once.

It really wouldn't bother me much at this point. I'm still holding on to a tiny sliver of hope that Gust will start making good games again, but I know that it will probably never happen.

Gust must have talked about doing that at least once internally, right? It can't be completely off the table. I am just hoping Ryza's game doesn't end up like the Mysterious series. I don't even think the Mysterious series is inherently bad, but I do not want a Mysterious series 2.

No, not Rorona herself, in fact there's a fair bit of Rorona X Sterk in the game and it ends with the two of them leaving Arland behind to go explore the Eastern Continent with Sterk asking her if she'll be okay with not seeing Lulua and the others for several years and Rorona replying that it will be fine as long as the two of them are together. It's Rorona's seiyuu herself who doesn't seem to like the idea of the pairing and unnecessarily specifies that they seem to have become "buddies" and "eternal brethren". It's kinda funny. Meanwhile, Mimi's seiyuu gushes about Mimi's love for Totori seems to have got even stronger and how she's still wrapped around Totori's finger.
