Titanfall 1 was better than 2. I don't understand why 2 gets so much praise. Titanfall 1 had

>titans are over complicated in 2
>The rodeo system in 2 is infinitely worse
2 is just a more casual shittier version of Titanfall 1 - I don't fucking understand all the hype. Although Titanfall 2's campaign was fantastic 8/10

Yeah I'm talking from a strictly multiplayer perspective which most people seem to talk about. The campaign is unironically one of the best in FPS campaigns this console generation, I've played it multiple times and gotten most of the campaign achievements

The campaign seemed to have such a great concept yet the main theme dissolved pretty quickly and ended up being a one man mission against the bad guys thing.
Also, aside from when the game decided to force you into the mech it was much better to fight on foot.
