Isn't it about time you replayed Call of Pripyat?

Not until Anomaly 1.5 leaves beta.

This, though the dev blog features looks great

Why, yes, I am about to play Metro Exodus.

i have installed call of chernobyl but haven't played it yet, make me

He said CoP not CoCK garbage.

for me its soc
gotta have the npp and all its spooky scariness

I fucking hate the vice and the clutter this mod has. Without those two things this would be perfect.

Playing anomaly right now

Based.

I went to that building, and on my first time there was no one there, bummer, trying to be scary for nothing.

what the FUCK

join duty

Yeah the vice thing is a total meme and I absolutely never, ever use it.

In fact I despise all crafting systems in videogames, they all seem so lameass.

>tfw driving along Darkscape at top speed and suddenly run over a Bloodsucker

Fuck muties and fuck invisible people.

>driving
Huh?

Are you new to Stalker games or something?

Is core gameplay altered somehow in Clear Sky? It plays like garbage. I played the shit out ouf SoC back in the day and I think it was much better, but maybe it's just nostaliga goggles.

I've only played CoP, CoC and Anomaly. Have never seen you being able to get in a vehicle.

Vehicles were cut content that dates far back form the early days of SoC and are restored in many mods. If you try SoC/Stalker mods you're bound to come across vehicles. I'm pretty sure you were also able to spawn in vehicles with the debug menu for CoC.

Shit looks fun, why did they have to cut it out?

How many buildings are in CoP? I dropped SoC because there's like 1 building per area.

every time I want to play SoC I always spend a couple hours doing everything in cordan and I drop the game when I reach the bar. Then I pick the game up again and do the same thing nearly every 6 months

Like a lot of other things that were cut from SoC, vehicles proved to be far too ambitious and came with many issues. Cars can be incredibly jank and can handle like absolute ass depending on the mod. Cars in Lost Alpha were so shit that if you even turned to the left slightly the whole car would flip over and it would explode.

Nope

>complaining about the lack of buildings in the outskirts of a town

remember gun slinger?

CoP is fucking trash

Why?

>that pic

>not waiting for 3.6

I would definitely like to see the anomalies become more brutal in S2.

would be nice if they were randomized after each blowout

I've been playing it for the last decade, no replay required. Legitimately the only reason I haven't sold my PC yet, it and subnautica are the only games I play. Although I am thinking about getting bloodstained.

after playing SoC, CoP felt like a skyrim mod trying to be stalker

>S2
>enter an anomalous place where some friendly stalkers camp in front of
>the stalkers warn you of the invisible anomalies in place/corridor X that will instakill you
>the player cannot see them or detect them with the bolt
>the stalkers guide the player from a distance
>now and then they accidentally near sent you the wrong way
>the player reaches the other side but not without shitting his pants
>there were no anomalies

If they wanted the game to sell they'd have to base it on the Quarters of Roadside Picnic. So that you'd have specific sub-zones in the Zone where most of the anomalous activity occurs, and in calmer areas you could have the combat that the vast majority of players bought the game for. The actual stalkering would be a deadly environmental puzzle every step, but there would still be cheeki breeki for those who enjoy it.

Only played Vanilla and CoC. What are the best mods to try out. Bonus points if they add new stuff to the world to explore.
