hasn't been a great fighting game since like 2005, which is saying a lot since most genres died around 2010. Fighting games were the first to kick the bucket.
Also a really unpleasant experience in general with much elitism. People will tell you there's no point in playing if you don't win often, and if you're winning often there's no point in not going to tournaments, but who the fuck actually wants to have niggers screaming taunts behind their backs while playing a video game.

When you're winning, sure, but it takes an autistic amount of work to get to the point where you feel cohesion in your game and not just random stuff and mashing. Also takes more than a thousand hours of play to not just get destroyed by better players without getting anything out of it.
Frustration factor repeatedly makes you question why are you even playing when it's so often not fun but miserable.
