Sacred Cards is fun in its own wayand I've played through it and enjoyed it a few times but Reshief of Destrcution is annoyingly difficult with cards being too expensive and it being too hard to level up your ATK/DEF cap. You basically have to take advantage of the element beats that element mechanic to beat even the weakest opponents and they can just use that against you or just play a different type card and win with ATK anyway. It's a shame because the original story seemed interesting.

That's what I've heard, the attribute-driven games do tend to factor it into their game balance and while it can give you can easy way out sometimes it is also its own kind of gating.
No, sadly. It starts with a number of cool concepts, only to the throttle them by placing the entire cast under house arrest for a tournament and delaying most of the "plot" until it doesn't have enough runtime left, and some of the big payoffs just aren't satisfying. I was only watching intermittently for about the last third.

The art is good and the new versions of old cards were cool, but there were too many duels and as a result they all ended up shit. They even had made new rules for the last duel just to shove strong monsters in as fast as they could, and still didn't have enough time to even explain how Yugi wins.
