I honestly don't care for a remake so much as a 3rd game unless they keep the character models the same but just add polygons and polish them and if they have to significantly change them do like 343 did and give you the option to toggle on and off "HD Remake" with the press of a button or menu option. id hate to not want to play a game because its "remake" graphics are offensive to my eyes and kills the vibe/atmosphere of the game. please don't make the characters look like Sonic Boom.

The Adventure games are "fuck you I like them" type of games where they are objectively shit but still has enough good sections and charm for me to like them anyway.
Remaking it sounds like an interesting idea but the problem is Sonic Team are full of morons that would probably make the game even worse somehow and without the charm. A remake by totally different dev team that rework the game from the ground up would be nice though.
