I just found a katana that seems to be a Muramasa knock-off. The description says it will grow stronger over time, and its base damage is already pretty good, slightly better than the 8 bit coin weapons.

The passive shards turn into skills if you level them to 9. This can be very useful.

Mastering a technique allows it to be used by any weapon of the same type. So you need to master, for example, the knife throw move with the standard knife but once you do, you can use it with any knife.

That being said I noticed the bandit blade's technique can't be mastered meaning it can only be used with the bandit blade, I assume.

All the offensive shards say what happens if you upgrade them. They either shoot for stuff, get bigger, hit harder, etc.

It means all weapons from the same class (swords, greatswords, boots, lances, etc) will be able to use it instead of the specific ones.

once you find a recipe book you'll just have more options in the cooking option from him. Just remember that making food and ingredients is distinctly separate from regular alchemy and has its own menu despite functionally being the same thing.

Pay attention to the moon during the fight/Read the flavor text on Zangetso, it should give you a cue on what exactly you need to do when Gebel gets low

Use Summon Bat (preferably upgraded), it's really powerful early game. Also use the 8-bit coin to craft a stronger weapon.

Otherwise his pattern is really simple. Just let him swing his sword once, then hit him once, move a bit away, let him come at you, rinse and repeat.

Since he's like the only boss who can guard when he's not recovering from attacks just focus on defense/getting behind him and punish him making sure to learn how many you can get in with your weapon of choice. Even easier with weapons with longer range or you know a gun

My game runs like complete shit, maxing at 4 FPS despite having a machine that's easily powerful enough to run it and updating my drivers etc
I contacted customer support who looked at my DxDiag and said it s was fine, and that nobody else had reported a similar issue.
I don't have any unusual hardware or unusual software running the background.
I bought and refunded it on steam since it ran like shit, then bought it on GOG hoping it was the DRM or something that was causing issues, still no change.

theres also a chain lighting shard that you can get off the thunder elementals

Converting doesn't get rid of the pillar shards, I have both the fireball and pillars. Chain Lightning is alright but I'm not a huge fan of it, I like the sheer area coverage the pillars give more. -
