The servers aren't massively overpopulated NOW. The congested status is being added in anticipation of Shadowbringers, as a means of forcing new arrivals onto the lower pop servers. NA probably will get new servers eventually, but labeling half the servers as congested isn't because those servers are bursting at the seams, it's population control.

If you put regen on a full health tank you'll immediately pull enemies to yourself on the first regen tick when he runs into enemies.

In fact in certain (low level) fights I apply medica 2 regen to everyone (who is on full health) so that when the adds spawn they immediately all run over to me instead of aggroing to random people.

Flash or Overwhelm a few times each pull

Use Overpower as a MRD and Flash as a GLA. Also cycle your single target combo between enemies.

Every tank has an aoe move that they can use to hit multiple targets with. PLD has Flash and Total Eclipse, the latter will be an aggro move next week. WAR has Overpower. DRK has Unleash.
And once the expansion drops you literally just need to sit in tankstance and use your aggro aoe moves.

On the plus side it means your gcd is more consistent so you can meld sks a bit more than you do now.

How, though? I've tried to be positive about it a few times after the media tour, but everything about it just looks completely and utterly unengaging in comparison to SB.
All the management and speed went out the window. Sure, we have mana ticks back now, but even then MP generation is slower than it used to be. Darkside is once again a buff that we need to keep up, but the only way you could possibly fail that upkeep is if you fell asleep and your face missed your keyboard or controller.
I'm not saying the rate at which we used Dark Arts was super engaging, but the job certainly fit together much better than it seems to now.
