In general, this mix of anime + hyper-realism where you can even see the pores on the characters' faces and even their peach fuzz is jarring as hell to me. I honestly think they ruined the tone of the original game. Frankly, this all started way before the remake (like with AC).
Tifa's redesign is shit not because of her tits (that is nowhere near a fucking issue), but because of her very thin and small frame, and especially FUCK that creepy face of hers. She looks so "manufactured" and dolled up it makes me want to punch her (Cloud also has a similar look, but Tifa suffers way more from this problem). I don't know how they managed to screw it up in relation to the original, maybe because low poly models have to exaggerate certain features like feet for example, and that such low level of detail leaves it up to the mind to fill in the blanks, and because of the aforementioned realistic style it exacerbates the issue further. Regardless, her physique in the remake is unconvincing as a fighter; she looks like a J-pop artist cosplaying a bad imitation of Tifa instead. Those high thighs (that have little to no detail, I should add) also don't work on her sticc legs, and the new skirt is just awful.
