Greatly increases your MP regen in combat and lowers enmity. Healing a lot is a good way to pull aggro, so the less you're drawing the more tanks can focus on damaging mobs and less on pulling enemies off you. Diversion is the DPS equivelent; lowers enmity.

Well, they have three roles left to fill, so 6.0 might be a three job expac (perhaps framed as a "these are the last jobs")
Now the three slots to be filled and some possibilities are:

Healers:
Geomancer is already established in game.
A revival of the failed Chemist is also a possibility
And finally, Time Mage is also a possibility, with AST lost most of its time-related spells. Time Magic is also already established as healing magic in Eorzea.

Magic DPS:
Necromancer was joked about by Yoshi-p, and Necromancy as a form of magic is already established in Eorzea
Oracle was part of the planned SB jobs but was dropped, they could also revive it
A Magic Knight kind of job could also be a possibility
And finally, a rework of Blue Mages is also a possibility: Half of it is already in game, so that would reduce the workload, which might be a concern if they really go for three jobs.

Ranged DPS:
The Musketeer guild is still sitting unused and could build into a Corsair or Gunner job.
Puppetmaster is a possibility, as a sort of physical version of SMN
Ranger is a slim possibility, if they find some way to differentiate it from BRD.

Nah, consider to this they'd have to scrap any of the older BLU content in order to make it a regular job. There's no way it could exist as a limited job if they ever made it a regular job.
That would completely change the way it levels up when acquired.
Thus making it a less attractive option than something like a new mage where they can just start from scratch.

Yes it does, just based on it's leveling exp it would require that to change you can hit level 50 in a day of over world grinding.
Carnival simply couldn't exist because the learning system would need a huge rehaul, you would need a core set of abilities to start off with that you get through leveling up.
They could keep the skill names but there's no way BLU as it is now can exist as a job that levels up from 1-50.

Nope, the it requires them to rework the entire limited system and essentially kill all of its assets both future and current. 1-50 blue mage does not translate well to party gameplay simply because of it's EXP algorithm.
It has no set rotation or skills which is different from a tank not having shield lob.

A complete split between the two versions of BLU would solve all those issues. Just have them be two separate job crystals, one with the learning system and all the limits, and one with a standard kit, and don't carry over exp from one to the other.

HoH is level 61 retards, you will have to pre-build challenge log so you only have to do few things on DNC to claim the reward, after that either fate grind, lastest dungeon available (not recommended unless u get a pseudo static group for dungeon runs) or PotD. Whatever you do, dont forget food buff and get in a FC for the exp buff. After you hit 61 you can spam HoH, not really recommended for sanity reasons either, intercalate dungeons.
