Anyone with a brain could tell Autochess was going to hit it big if it broke free of being a mod for dota. The mod was already hitting hundreds of thousands concurrent, there was more people playing Auto chess than actual dota at one point. The mobile chinese clone took off like fire, so it was only a matter of time. Riot's version will dwarf Valve's and the 'official' version from now on.
