One thing that kinda bugs me is there seems to be an over abundance of joke style items. Like nearly every-other headpiece or accessory I find is some sort of joke. Joke Items are great in moderation but it seems like if you care about stats at all at least so far you'll look like you grabbed a bunch of random bits of costumes out of a Halloween shop. Defeat the twin dragon in the bell tower, get the silver bromide after the fight, go back to the shop and have your picture taken, then take the picture to the library at the top part of the map and the librarian will give you an ID so you can get through the turnstile at the far right part of the map.

Just use a kb+m lel. It's not bad.

They are useful, but not necessary.
The Katana rekka combo is pretty good, easy input (it's just a quarter circle) and worth mastering. Especially for a sword you'll get later on.
The Triple Kick can also be used to get to a few places early before you get the double jump.

boots have been really good for bosses because you can just drop kick them to death while they do their fancy attack moves that they cant aim at you

A few tips:

>Stack luck for lods of emone

>If you get stuck in the water area, kill a bunch of jellyfish
>if you get the special sword, it's time to redo the bad end and slice the moon
>Don't forget to revisit OD periodically. Books are stupidly good
>Blue chests respawn and help to alleviate grind
>Jump cancel your attacks, especially with the whip
>stuck on a boss? Consider getting and upgrading the grinder soul

You can emulate all of them. I recommend starting with Symphony or Aria. They're all pretty good in their own ways, but HoD and OoE aren't that great IMO.
Also get the definitive edition rom hack for Dawn if you do end up playing it, because it fixes some of the more annoying aspects of the game.

You can actually get it with just double jumps. The mast sways back and forth, and if you jump at the perfect moment, and space your jumps perfectly, you can just barely make it onto the ledge.

Sadly, she is the worst part. The rest of the cast is perfectly serviceable to actually good. Nip audio is overall much better. Also, when you sit down to play the piano with a faerie familiar, the nip singing voice from the faerie is vastly better than the english counterpart.

Yes and no? Most bosses can be face tanked and DPS raced, including her.

My observations suggest she is one of the harder bosses in the game. She definitely garners the most complaints. Zangetsu is a pleb filter, but not nearly as difficult.

Shoes or Bunnymorphesis makes the dive kicks do normal attack damage. Spamming kicks is like the fastest dps in the game and breaks most fights.

There's a chest at the bottom of the tower where you fought the twin dragons, go get the item, then get your picture taken at the shop, then go to the library and get an ID with your picture, then go to the train station
