Also loved Jackhammer and quad rocket launcher. Shame you couldn't fire all four rockets simultaneously tho.

>tfw in almost every game you can't remove the horrible sight
It looks cool from the side and while using it, but actually aiming is terrible.
>*1000 times folded ultra space allows
This gun is in GR Wildlands and it holds one round in the chamber and one in the magazine, making it slower and less useful than a sawn-off double barrel.
>it holds one round in the chamber and one in the magazine
I don't think I've ever seen what you're saying. Usually they'll use a super modded up gun which wouldn't work with the P90.
>We need something to make our sidearms suitable for spec ops teams
“Hmm, hmm...!”
>900 rounds
>still works fine after a cool off
youtube.com
Only long-long-long range accuracy is suffering after the first couple hundred rounds, which makes sense because the rifle is designed to be a carbine, not a machine gun. and it's only the trunnion that goes to shit.
>I need gun to shoot enemies and tenderize steaks
>I got just the thing fampai
hey man i like these tropes, those guns look cool
MGS4
This shit in Payday 2 was literally the best secondary in the whole fucking game, better than most primaries.
Until they went full fucking retard with the Judge and then shortly after with everything else ever.
G36 and XM8 yes, because mostly you see the pig disgusting G36C and XM8 almost never since it was just a prototype, but I started to hate p90 because it's everywhere and started the whole tacticool futureshit trend
>we need a gun that makes you forget which firing mod you're in at a crucial moment
>G36C
>pig disgusting
Them's fighting words, nigga
>G36C
fuck yourself, G36C a cute.
That gun looks cool and that design is very sexy. Reminds me of the Super Shotgun from Doom really.
>Devs put this gun in the game
>Can ONLY use the 4x scope and not the red dot
Why is it so hard to toggle aiming reticles or whatever? Same with flip-up magnifiers for red-dots or Holo sights. That was one thing MGSV did well.
Rate my shotgun Yea Forums. Applied RPK furniture onto it.
p90 has been my gunfu since swat 4 you shut your mouth
og G36 or G36K is gentleman's choice
>we need a gimmick weapon that is also completely useless
Not disputing that, but calling G36Chan pig disgusting is just needlessly rude
I know right? The devs just gave all guns arbitrary properties to distribute the balancing.
don't you dare talk about my wife like that
Funny how you mention this, I think a game actually allowed me to swap between them before. I forgot what game it was though. Maybe I'm wrong. I think Apex has a similar feature though with one of the guns.
reminds me of the division 2 beta where a revolver could have a full cylinder and one in the chamber
Straight from the Thunder Thigh Dome
okay, I take it back, that was a bit unnecessary
it's just you never see her big sisters in vidya unless it's some milsim or game with 10000 guns
True that, a real shame. Also, the G3 doesn't get enough love either

Is this CoD? Damn, actually looks fun.
Dirty Bomb has pretty much every gun in the G3 family, though i think thats because they were lazy and just wanted to copy-paste assets.

that's kinda cool though, unique
not only that, but lazily designed one
not as bad as "gee Vector, how come your operator lets you load two magazines", but still uninspiring
I almost got to shoot one of these but then someone tragically died
>We need brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt

> 1900
There was barely any conventions at that point
wow user you know so much about guns! i know whos house I'M to go to during the zombie apocalypse ;)
No it doesn’t faggot
here's your real sci-fi assault rifle bro
IW is the exact opposite of fun though
>let's give ammo weight
The funfact is that there is no such thing as AK 47. There is AK then AKM and so on.
Have sex
>what if we made a handgun to compete against the american M1911 but gave it the total magazine count of a P90?

How does this thing fire? It looks absolutely primitive.
>let's make a Fallout game set in Las Vegas
This is actually pretty good and plausible
Is this saying that there are a ton of different bullets in that game? Aren't bullets used as money in Fallout or am I remembering some other game?
That's Metro. New Vegas does have a fairly substantial amount of diversity in its bullets, though.

gun
IRL the original 'serbu super shorty' that popularized the class did only hold 2+1.
It was a 1,300 dollar build.
I'll take her
>We need That Gun.
Yeah but when you arbitrarily drop the magazine capacity to 1 and we're still talking about a pump-action shotgun, you've got a weapon that's slower than a sawn-off and needs two hands to operate.
It's that gun.
>we need a gun for the fedora guy who wants to look classy
i hate how many games treat flamethrowers like they're literally just bellowing fire, and not firing out heated substances that fling a fair distance and fuck shit up in your path.
>let's try and improve on perfection
That's a thick barrel.
Is that a phased plasma rifle?
Can we talk about how plasma rifles work in games? They also go pew pew like a stupid weak sounding gun, but are supposed to be powerful. Is plasma powerful?
This thread proves zoomers don’t understand tropes
Gault Team was great
Isn't it basically superheated gas? The blasters in Star Wars are technically plasma weapons, I think. Lightsabers too.
In Halo it is. Shit burns through solid metal armor. Regular soldiers are out after a couple shots since it burns them down to the bone.
When you make plasma in a microwave it hums at the frequency of the radiation. If you apply the doppler effect to that, it literally becomes "pew pew". Of course that requires a magnetron and free plasma probably makes entirely different noise.
Is it powerful? Well plasma is a substance heated up so far beyond boiling that electrons wander away from the atoms. I guess it depends on which element you use. The problem is keeping it intact until it hits the target. Something of that much heat energy would just dissapate after leaving the barrel if it didn't somehow have a self-generating force field or something.
Mercenary Kings weapon
>our game needs a shotty

>SPAS-12.jpg
>It's pump action
>Tropes
Sounds like lack of originality to me.
>here you go senpai
>it can fire two shots at the same time for some goddamned reason
It is, but that has nothing to do with my post or the zoomer inability to see patterns properly.
>so we've got this belt-fed flare gun
>that's pretty stupid and overbuilt for a flare gun
>make an assault rifle out of it
You don't know primitive
This gun was capable of pump-action mind you. It was also only really worth it in a fictional universe...
at least mmod fixed it hitting the same "round" thirty times and then swapping in another one
g36 a cute
A CUTE!
I thought that was pretty cool as a sci-fi thing.
>cyprus

>we need a sci-fi assault rifle for our big budget hollywood movie

What am I looking at here? How does it work?
IWI Carmel is an Israeli assault rifle, but not bullpup like the Tavor.
the left magazine is for the bottom barrel, which shoots standard bullets. the far right mag is filled with grenades (?) which fire out of the top barrel
It has a pin to flip and change the barrel to the other magazine. It uses different rounds. All purpose super rifle for a reason.
Duplex ammo.

What the hell was going on with this thing in the CoD games?
Why do so many games give shotguns an effective range of 3 feet?
>tfw no real M41A
I just wanna make that fucking awesome noise when it fires
Because muh balance. BFBC2, BF3 and 4 gave them realistic range and it got them banned in many servers
balance
>one shots at any range in FUBAR mode
Is that supposed to somehow reduce something in the gun?
still pisses me off that to this day colonial marines is the only game to get the sound right. alien trilogy for the ps1 came close but they just used a clip from aliens for the sound effect
Don't worry about it.

It may look elegant but it's very boring. I still haven't got bored of 1911 although it's also extremely popular.
fuck you
The magazine is on the top, with the sight attached
Yeah it fucking sucks. I guess the real gun was literally so good that it'd be unbalanced if the devs didn't fuck it over.
> We need a gun that the player can carry, but they need to drop it a lot to do anything else and it's lost once the mission's over
> Gotcha senpai
No, how does it function internally. There is no bolt behind the mag. You would have to employ Korobov magic and pull the round forward to make it work.
>with scavenger pro
beautiful
>Mauser C-96 is so sexy already, the best they could do was add a fancy muzzle brake
I wouldn't know. Don't touch it, and by the time it's available, I've beaten the game and DLCs.
man, that movie was dumb as hell
>a more expensive and complexe gun is better
Well yeah the point of the chauchat is that you could make them in bicycle factories, quick and cheap, who cares if the gun on the other side is better when you can field 100 times that number.
M16 was way cheaper to make.
Is this gun carried like this even viable in a combat scenario?
it's not fair bros
A fish.
>That recoil.
Oh God no, the ammo would be too heavy and even if you were carting it around behind you on a trailer you'd break your arm firing.
When Jesse Ventura fired one of these things modified to fire blanks while filming Predator, the spent casings flew out so fast they broke his nose.
>I need a gun that won't need servicing and can be reloaded even if im buck-naked with no gear in a 100 mile radius

BF1 actually shoots the fuel for 2 secs then it ignites.
Probably the most satisfying and done right flame thrower
But they aren't as fun.
>We need a first world war assault weapon

You probably just didn't understand the subtle metaphor about US/Mexico relations.
I don't blame you, though; it did require a very high IQ
>underbarrel shotgun to remove the bug fucking shits at close range
God damn right I would do my part
How do you put the saftey back on? Pump it again?
>bad dudes
I've honestly grown to like it as I used it. At first it felt like trash because of how much recoil it's got, but if you just gun it and go in to rip and tear, it works.
yah, shame some hilarious and great weapon designs were wasted on that shit
>we need something cool that will also bankrupt us
If CoD had realistic ranges for shotties, then theyd be killstreaks instead of loadout tier weapons.
IRL is not very well balanced gun for gun
>tfw it sucks absolute ass in BC2
I don't think you'd break your arm, it's still just 5.56 and it's fired out of a very heavy gun in a position where you could absorb the recoil decently well. The real issue's just the size and weight of ammo, as you pointed out.
It was one of the last guns to come out before I quit.
I must have missed the part where the US has authority over Mexico and controls the Mexican police.
Last time I checked Mexico was doing a fine job oppressing themselves
The perfect shape for a cutting/slashing weapon is the kilij sabre not a katana though, especially if you're riding on some futuristic vehicle a high speeds.
It would if it was 30 pellets in a mag and each held 30 shots.
Fucking 900 shots in one mag. God I wish that was some real tech. Could spend the entire day in the range and not even break a ding in your wallet
>We need a gun that shoots fire, fire and fire
>okay we don't actually need it but you know
Now I want a game that has designs like this. This is a style I have never seen before.
>we need a gun for our protagonist's ex-rival who really likes revolvers
Shots come out of which tube? And what does the other one do?
Looks lame Rogue. Pick me.
L4D has the best LMG
I believe you mean the cockroaches squatting on greek soil.
rust
How much you want for it?
you can load legion coins in shotgun shells
They come out of the bottom tube. The one on top contains the spring that allows for automatic feeding.
>7.62
>AKSU
vaginafield v has it
I just spent like 1,300 dollars on it. Refurbishing the stock and handguards was a bitch. Not selling.
Right now I'm fitting an AKM dongle (wood forward grip).
that campaign was the best space shooter though, before the Halo trilogy of course
I use her but god i hate her voice
Biotech is a severely underappreciated aesthetic.
I understand why, but still.
7.62, not 5.56.
Every soldier ever issued one said it was the exact same opposite of 'alright' user.
>"guess how many bullets i have left"
Pic posted before was before refurbishing the stock entirely. Here's current progress with a banana mag.
>"no, you guess"
>we need to make a mafia game
>too lazy to animate round going into the chamber so they just made it hit the same one
why can't Valve into guns
Holy shit how did it take me this long to realize Han's blaster is just a Mauser?
Its an alien gun user, thats how its supposed to work its fucking pulse rifle.
Bottom one is the barrel, top one is the gas tube, which contains the piston that pushes the bolt back to start the process of ejecting the last casing, recocking the hammer, and loading the next round into the chamber.
But there is an animation for loading next the round, it just plays during the reload animation.
*the next
I thought it was silly (in a good way) that the AR2 just kinnda smacked dark energy bolts out of a pellet until it ran dry then swapped for a new one.
I like that mmod tried to fix it but I'm still not completely sold on it. There was a better one floating around somewhere but I think it got dropped.
the red super shorty can take down helicopters
If I recall, most AR15s are direct gas systems which means that while it is light, it also runs hot as hell
these are the same jackasses that thought the magazine tube on a SPAS-12 is a second barrel
Not many, but then, it WAS only ever issued to the Fallschirmjager. Hence the name.
9 times out of 10, this revolver shoots laser or plasma
And you can both barrels at the same time!
>we want a weapon for high tech mercs in the near future
>here's your - CONTACT! HE'S TOO FA
How the fuck are you people so good at picking up on gun tropes? At best, I can say "AK = Terrorist", "Revolver = Cowboy" and "Tommygun = Gangster."
owlcation.com
Shotguns are literally so OP in real life that Germans literally said they are unfair in WW1
What the fuck is that from?
>Here's your futuristic Pistol, bro
Has there ever even been a game where the SPAS-12 can cycle between pump and semi?
the M16 doesn't try to turn into a fusion gun after firing it for 4 seconds
H3VR
Why dont operators and militaries mass issue shotguns like the M4 or AK?
I made it. I was thinking of ways to make a gun with primary, secondary and tertiary firing modes as well as melee. It's a double-barreled flamethrower with a 12-gauge dragon's breath shotgun and 40mm white phosphorus launcher and the flamer barrels are sharpened so you can impale an enemy and inject them with burning napalm.
Mostly because we stopped fighting wars in trenches after WW1, and so fighting became a lot more long range
Shotguns just fucking tore shit up because the trenches guaranteed tight spaces that a wide spread weapon would fuck shit up in
It has more to do with Germany trying to grasp at anything to undermine the Allied powers in WW1 than the actual effectiveness tho.
>csgo gun
How do you decide whether or not a troop got a shotgun or not? Weapons in general?
Why not make long range shotguns that spew rifle rounds?
that muzzle tip is destroying my OCD. Why is it so crooked?
Limited effectiveness at longer ranges and slow to reload. Their main purpose now is mainly for door breaching.
To reduce the recoil.
too bad you couldnt really use it, till the xpac anyway.
The gun is designed to redirect recoil force in a different direction than traditionally designed guns so there would be less muzzle climb
Not the user you replied to but I thought shotguns were only issued during close quarter raids/urban ops rather than to troops rolling around in the desert shooting at mountains and valleys.
P90 isn't operator shit is it? I thought it was designed for drivers and pilots to have something that wouldn't take up a lot of room.
It's is a very cute PDW please stop hating
Because a rifle with a shorter barrel is generally just as effective as a shotgun in close quarters, but having the benefit of a rifled barrel, giving better range. unlike a shotguns which has a smooth bore.
not him but what program did you use?
Those already exist. They're called Slugs.
Who is this girl from?
Her mother.
>not posting the Vector with two (2) magazines
Jesus Christ, do you ever stop posting? Get some rest already, you eternally cucked island nigger.
MP7 is the true queen of PDWs, surpassing even that of MP5.
Best gunfu indeed.
he said only one in the magazine along with the one chambered, which is only two rounds at a time and basically makes it obsolete for being a pump action. like he said, better off just using a sawed off double barrel at that point
Foundry Modo for the mesh. Substance Painter for the materials. Modo again for the animation and render.
FTFY
Girls Frontline
neat, thanks.
the bottom tube is the barrel, while the top one is the gas tube where some of the pressure and gas from a shell being fired pushes a piston that is inside to basically push back the bolt to eject the spent shell, re-cock the hammer to be fired again, and loads in a new shell, resulting in semi-automatic firing. if you have the right parts for it, it can also be fully automatic.
That's firing 3 rounds so fast that they've all left the barrel before the shooter even feels the recoil.
Good taste.
It’s in literally every WW2 shooter ever, COD World at War, Day of Infamy, the first COD, the third COD, I’d be willing to bet COD WW2 and BFV have it in there as well, BF 1942, Day of Defeat (not source engine), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, so many more. It’s just much more of a rare weapon (understandably so) than other German weapons. Name any WW2 game and it’s bound to be in there somewhere.
>here’s your burst pistol bro
hey it's the HL2 SMG
Gun autism is a hell of a drug

GorkaMorka
Complete with under-barrel grenade launcher.
I like this friendly duck.
Its not practical. Limited uses plus a massive weight problem. Why carry 50 rounds of 00 buck when you can carry 10 magazines of 5.56.
Comfy sniper rifle coming through
What's the thing on the bottom under the barrel?
Bipod
Shotguns were actually pretty shit in the trenches too, reports from the guys who used them were almost universally negative. The whole design of a pump shotgun, especially one of that era, is uniquely unsuited to trench warfare and the mud and grime involved. Pumpguns are surprisingly complex weapons and have a lot of relatively fragile parts, and it's way too easy for mud or other debris to get into the action and seize the gun up at best or lead to parts breakage when the shooter tries to force a jammed action. They're also a pain in the ass to field strip and clean, and the ones used in the war had a lot of small parts that could be dropped during a field strip and lost in the mud, or put back together incorrectly, or whatever. If that's not bad enough, the shells in those days were usually made out of paper, and you can imagine how that goes in a damp muddy trench.
Even if they DO work properly, they're not tremendously effective guns for trench warfare either. They're still long and slow-firing, not much better than a rifle, and the spread is a moot point at trench warfare ranges, where the pattern would still only be a few inches wide, not the vidya-style multi-person spread you might imagine.
come on user, surely you have heard of a bipod before.
>automatic 75mm APHE rifle
>recoil doesn't blow your arms off
probably because its meant for 8ft super soldiers to use, and miniaturized versions for power armored soldiers to use.

Catachan soldiers can use bolters.
This gun was a beast in BO2, sniping people across the map.
Rest In Peace Kid.
>Catachan
>normal
kek
Good point.
Id imagine like using a rapid fire rpg or grenade launcher in CQB, space marine armor can wade through the shrapnel long as its not a direct hit.
Looks like it can tear a man in two.
It's .75 caliber, not 75mm. There's a big difference. The .75 means the bullet/barrel is approximately 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
Bolters used by humans are basicly the bolter equivalent of derrangers, a normal human couldent use a bolt rife without the recoil breaking them in half
>we need a gun for the ter- no, not an AK, they’re European
its only a small explosion, but it happens INSIDE the enemy so,
Namefag shut up
I like how it was used has a plot point in chaos theory
>When the M4 and SCAR are already in the game
Awful gun to shoot IRL. Kicks like a mule for some reason (thought it was weight but I just looked it up and it's basically the same as an 870), rear balance and short barrel add a bunch of muzzle flip to it, and the action isn't great either. The only practical purpose I can see for it is firing nonlethals or other specialty rounds (breaching, maybe?), otherwise a compact semi-auto carbine is a vastly superior and more practical weapon.
>mfw watching the ballistics
>mfw they were hunting deer with it
>we need guns created by an ancient advanced civilization billions of years that just works
>say no more reclaimer
Useful in a pinch in Halo 4, but utter trash in Halo 5.
Just like Halo 5 itself
Holy shit you’re a faggot
Hopefully Infinite puts things back on track
I'll put you back on track big boy.
WE'RE GOING HOME, ESE
the beeshooter
Shouldve just made a nice 25mm grenade launcher with sophisticated electronics.
>we need guns that are outdated, outclassed and no longer used by modern armies anymore
Here you go, user
You actually missed the sarcasm in that post?
lel came to post this
>P90
*inhales*
Guns from the cold war era are kino
>not immediately recognizing the glorious broomhandle
>it doesn't fire each round at once
special revolver speedloader might work
Why though? Last I read the thing was pretty much good to go when it got canned.
>We need a gun for our european terror cell
>AKS-74U
>7.62
It got canceled when the Soviet union fell and west Germany suddenly had to support the economically ruined east Germany. The G11 was getting pretty close to being adopted when that happened.
Collapse of communism had something to do with it
here's your shotgun, bro
no time for that shit anymore
>win+r
>C:\Program Files (x86)\Cheat Engine 6.8.3\cheatengine-x86_64.exe
I remember how many times that shotgun saved my ass in the original Far Cry
wtf i love communism now
fuggin gommies ruin everything

MACs, MP5s and UMPs are great. I always use them if I can.
It's like two guns were mating and then got encased in carbonite.
>using any remington that's not the 700 or related
>OH SHIT

Not even the shotguns?
I shot an M4 for the first time a while back. Pretty comfy. I wasn't expecting it to be so small.
Did it work and was it adopted? My gut tells me no...
for me it's Benelli
Considering testing ended 14 years ago what do you think? That stupid thing never stood a chance. Fuckhueg and the kinetic component had way too short a barrel.
It got cancelled
He was asking about the XM-25, not OICW.
the avenger assault rifle, standard issue to all alliance soldiers
ah my bad
also cancelled though
Usefull, needed improvement, and one accident cause the whole budget cut.
Pity, good weapon.
>Perfection x2 achieved
I didn’t miss the reddit
that was the joke, user
the devs are lazy fucks
Got the WebM/GIF of Ian dual wielding these without a stock?
Isnt it just a cut up SPAS with a plastic shell?
>this triggers the kommando
The forend doesn't even move, he just slides his hand along it. Did they think an HK slap would get them sued? Sonic X had an MP5 fetish too for some reason
I hope there's one of these in Cyberpunk 2077.
Posting without images and fucking up greentexts with spoilers triggers even worse. Fuck.
>official high-def pack of hl1 turns the "assault rifle" into a M4 with underbarrel grenade launcher
>looks like a beast of a weapon
>still super inaccurate and needs million shots to kill a soldier
I know it's a reskin but c'mon. Valve has made some weapons fun to shoot with (Crossbow, Revolver) but the standard weapons have always sucked ass.
>tfw no HK SMG I or II in anything
so does it shift to the side then? neat
SMGII was in I.G.I. 2: Covert Strike.

Fucking Crysis
Here you go senpai.
yea I still don't understand why is it orange, they should've made an AK12 knockoff
Neat user. Thanks.
Wait, turns out there's more:
imfdb.org
imfdb.org
It's bakelite.
Gun would look boring if it was completely black, orange plastic parts make it look cool, yet plastic is lightweight.
never forget the magic bag fag
Warhammer weapons look like trash. The magazine isn't even proportionally sized to the barrel
Not quite, it's a Thompson SMG on top with the central portion of a SPAS for the underbarrel, in a plastic shell.
This, and also the brown/orange grip and hanguard are just part of the iconic AK look in the popular consciousness.
>the futuristic Model 1887
>the double barreled MP5K
>the pump action sniper rifle shotgun hybrid
>the gun that could split into two become a pair of electric brass knuckles
MP5K is better.
>That gun that was one gun but could be broken in half to turn into two guns
True, but the SMG is neat.
>the plasma sniper rifle that turned into an assault rifle
The MP5 with underslung g.launcher isn't impossible though. It's not like how the MP7 somehow had a grenade launcher despite being in default configuration with a red dot slapped on top.
>using this in Syphon Filter Dark mirror
sheeetttt
DP-12 does the gimmick better with yet another gimmick on top
FASTER COMRADE I WANT TO HIT THEM WITH MY SWORD
>When I think guerilla, I think Kalashnikov
>What do you mean
>I've had enough AKs fired at me to know that wasn't one
Here’s your gun that 3D prints ammo bro
Something is wrong with your tank, crewman.
>That assault rifle that had virtually no recoil until you aimed down the sight and then it had horrible recoil
WHO *PING* BRO?
super shorty is cute!
CUTE!!!
>the MP28
>That sniper rifle made in the year 21XX that was literally just a Garand with a square scope
>That shotgun that's named after an eceleb
fuck hurts my thumbs
Back in MY day the Loco used to be the worst weapon in the game!
>Game portrays magnums as huge cannons rather than just a type of designation for the amount of gunpowder in bullets
>Game portrays shotguns all as close range, high spread weapons when that's just depending on the type of slug or shot
Not to mention they had an actual M1 Garland that was in better condition
Other systems aren't any cooler really, the heat just builds in a different spot (the piston)
More gunpowder basically means a cannon though
God bless Killing Floor 1 for having real flamethrowers
Unbelievable they fucked up having shitty short dick ranged flamethrowers in KF2
>We need something that penetrates armor
For me it's miniguns without a type of belt feed or massive drum or seemingly infinite rounds from nowhere.
>75mm
Spess marines are big, but they aint that big, this is a 76mm mind you
No.
>thicker armor
Kek, I have the book this picture is from.
Jesus that’s terrifying. Is it just an experimental weapon?
>I doubt a regular human could even lift and fire the thing
Ruleswise, regular old Imperial Guard can use bolters.
Granted only the sergeants and even then, they're down-scaled (even if they have the same stats).
Because 99 out of those 100 don't fucking work.
Is there anything more satisfying than unloading a full clip from your AK?
Man, I love video games with guns!
Personally I like magdumping my revolver! Games with a nice .357 Special or a good .38 Magnum are always choice.
>he plays with hint system on
