Not to the same degree as G.U. but they're there. If you're looking for comfy, The World itself is more comfy in IMOQ than it is in GU. The big issue with IMOQ is the combat is mediocre compared to GU and overall poor in the scope of most action RPGs.

IMOQ plays more like an actual MMO, more so than GU, which felt more like an action game to me. Message boards and fake news still play a part in the games. The only negative I can say about the gameplay is the combat itself can be a pain for some because you're to going pop up a lot of menus during fights when you're ordering your party.

The World:R2 is shit.

The game itself is way more comfy with the feel of the desktop and world. The biggest difference is the game is way more challenging than gu. The first phase fight is able to be fought at 33 since that is the cap. The boss is level 40 something. The game does get easier but the first disc alone is a giant casual filter. Also you need to collect virus cores later and it is incredibly more tedious and annoying than in gu. Also all phase fights have bosses that can easily instakill you and don't have an hp bar. Otherwise it should take you 40 hours just to beat the story and do a few side quests.

I also wish for a revival of the series. //Link was to much of a shit hill to die on for the games. And the stupid plot hook they did in that crap OVA they did about a terroist group trying to get hold of Aura.

Also, all that's said is that they meet at an anthrosopy lecture. Sure, she might know he's talented, but they're specifically vague about the details of their relationship. There's no implications.

There was an alternate universe fantasy world mobile game but I don't know much about it.

I like Link because I feel like it cohesively ties together a lot of .hack's lingering back stories, specifically the Terminal Disk. It is a great way for newcomers to get up to speed without investing a fuckton of time and money. Real Digitalize feels like the natural progression from the very first scene of .hack, which is trying to communicate to the viewer what it would be like to be inside a video game. I think it's fine, but it's fine if you don't. The game itself is pretty bad and the story is presented in a very roundabout way. It might as well have been a visual novel.

That's just my opinion.

Well yea, considering the main objective for the first half of the damn game is waking them up from the statues. And the plot hook at the start says they are needed. It was a mess of a game. They did not do the characters any justice at all.
Seems very shallow just to include them for a shit lost loved one plot. We don't even get a propper send off for them either.

Yes i managed through the broke as fuck fan translated copy. Even the way the game was coded was fucked up. Crashed all the damn time. Could only fix by swapping to the none translated ISO and even sometimes that did not fix it all of the time i had to delete setting on emulators and my Vita to get it going again. The game itself is so brainless i played it on auto pilot while i was on the shitter for the unlocking of the characters.

I dropped Atoli so hard after I got Shino back. I only party with Shino and Tabby.

They are important simply because you need the chrono cores or whatever it was.

You do get a send-off, it's the Unison event unlocked after the main game. There are also a fuckton of F-Skits if you want to see specific characters interact.

Speed charm. Have her buff up your speed while also wearing that one set of armor that also boosts your speed up by 50% and you'll be zipping by the Forest of Pain pretty quickly.

I was hoping it would at least have the arena, that was one of my favorite things in the game, and you're just too strong for almost any of the maps that they did make for it, since they're designed for Lvl 130-140.

If you were a massive autstic like me about it and got all the Trophys, i was so powerful that in whole of Vol 4 nothing could kill me. Dopple armor and Accesory just over powers everything. That and i had fully upgraded weapons with Virus cores and had the best Guns from Vol 3. The ones that cause almost instant death. Getting the new form sort off nerfed me really. But i did like the new attacks and chaining you get.

Yeah, the message boards were amazing. The art site was cool too, really reminded me of the old oekaki boards I used to visit.

I’m on vol. 3 and I still feel like I haven’t gotten many member addresses so far, such as Zelkova and his guild members. Wish I had more variety in people to invite/do random stuff. But I haven’t even job advanced to the white outfit yet so I suppose I’m still early in the game?

Redemption's best thing is that it goes absolutely batshit insane on who you can invite later on in the game. But it's still later, so just progress for now. I don't think anyone but a few can be missed anyway
