It honestly sounds more worrying every time. What it needed was similar gameplay in a completely new world. Now it's the other way around, and that's the best case scenario because it could very well be the same gameplay in the same world.
They needed to do more than just show that tiny amount of footage and then leave it at "it's in the same world" for what will probably be months until the next update we get on the game.

Sounds like an excuse honestly, given the DLC was completely forgettable and nintendo knows they can rehash everything and their fans will buy it no matter what. It's actually a smart move, just like announcing metroid prime 4 to entice early adopters or selling literal cardboard.
