You need at least a 1050 ti or 570 match a PS4, the 1030 is shit.

buy a used 1050ti for about £100/$120

570 is much better than ps4 and its the only budget card worth getting right now. What ps4 runs at 30 fps the 570 runs at 60.

Processors decent, but the GPU is shit.

just get a 1050ti

why would you buy this shit over a 2200g or 2400g you giant retard

The thing is even if you build a low budget computer on par with the PS4, it probably won't run games as well as PS4 because games are optimized for that hardware.

Multiplatform games that are optimized for PC might work with that. But those games are way better with 1050ti-1060 if you want to play on the level of ps4.
The CPU looks alright i guess.

you can get a used rx570 for like $90 which will shit on that card as well as a PS4

If you cant afford at least rx570 4gb dont go for the pc meme. Ignore all the gtx cards until 1060 6gb too.

1050 was always shit, the bare minimum gpus are a 570 or 1650, these gpus are also overkill for 1080p 60.

Op here, thanks for the advice, one another thing, how important is the mother board in gaming? This is what I'm looking into right now.

Nah m8. Just stay away from pcs its clearly not for you. You will be just dissapointed.

Very, also PSU quality is VERY important.

Cuase I don't know wtf I'm doing, whats the difference?

1660TI.

This, just bought a ryzen 3 2200G and a 570 4gb and it can run most games at 60 on medium to high settings, I was really suprised especially for the price

why did you buy a 4core apu to pair with a gpu instead of a 1600+ 570.

I'm leaning towards 1050ti and ryzen 2200g, is it good for it?

The site I bought it off said the 1600 was discontinued

dont get nvidia if you aim for budget pc.

What does sulfur do and where do you live to get enough of it to be actually affecting your rig

Do not get the 1050 get the Rx 570 4 gab, it’s cheaper and with double the frames here’s a vid

if you cant get at least a 1060 dont bother

Nibba PLEASE just wait a couple of weeks

Trust me

oh god the wait squad is here

This can confirm and I'm using the single fan 4 GB version

oh this is bait.
you almost got me.

welcome to pc, now you get to wait forever

Return 2200g if still possible and get a 1600 which is 6c/12t.

Ryzen 3 comes out next month

Rx 570 it is then, with ryzen 2200g, anything else I should know?

What do you recommend?

>Nvidia
No
You're going to need an RX 550 to match a PS4.

Nigga 2200g isnt worth buying if ure getting a dedicated gpu anyway. 1200 is half the price in my country and its same shit. Look for ryzen 1600 or 1200 depending on the price.

Yes, you should go to /g/ and ask in the PC building general.

>GT 1030
Oh no no no no no ahhhhh

im going to pick your nose faggot

Drop the 1030 and replace the 2200G with a 2400G. The integrated graphics on the 2400G are more than serviceable for light gaming, and you'll be better off with more CPU cores.

2400g is an apu which is a cpu with a gpu. it is cheaper and has better performance than the 1030

Reminder that buying an apu with a dedicated GPU was the norm a few years ago, and it's ideal for troubleshooting.

Fuck no lol my old lenovo laptop from 2013 witha 750m and a i7 is probably better or as good as that
Pc gaming is a fucking meme dont sell your ps4
Save up get a cheap pc and pirate everything or emulate
Steam and epic store are trash

Lul i have a 1070 ryzen 1700 setup
And i have a garbage 100 dollar dell 1080p 60 fps monitor

So I can just get ryzen 2400g processor and won’t need a gpu with it??

Having an offhand discrete GPU is nice, but this is the 1030 we're talking about. It’s $80 for a POS that's shittier than the 2400G's GPU and most of Intel's iGPU offerings.

>normie co-worker talking about getting a gaming PC for her son on ebay
>look up specs

How do I fix this

GTX 750 was as powerful as a PS4 around when the console released. That doesn't change just because time went on.
A lot of people change the standard for PC. If it doesn't do 1080p 60 FPS at Ultra then "it's not as good as a PS4" which was only doing 1080p 30 FPS on low settings.

ps4 has changed too with pro. though these same people keep not including the pro when they say just as good as ps4

even a shitty 750 ti + pentium matches a ps4
