I love Yakuza, but I love Crash Team Racing more.

I like Yakuza, and the lawyer story really interests me. I just don't like the MC. Kimura Takuya is fine, but they made him look stupid with the weird hair and skinny jeans. And apparently you don't even get other outfits in premium adventure, so you're stuck with the 30-something dressed like a teenager look.

What was wrong with Kiwami 2? I played 0 and Kiwami and was considering playing it next.

I still have like, three Yakuza games to catch up on.

Yakuza 2 (the original) has a pretty diehard fanbase, which is largely unhappy with Kiwami 2 for various reasons. And on top of that come newfags who started with Yakuza 0, who are shocked to discover that other games aren't as varied in their combat system as 0 is.

In all honesty though, Kiwami 2 is a fantastic game. The only true issue is the gutted OST.

I´ll care once it comes out for PC. Luckily, there´s a good chance that it´s going to happen.
The fighting is a bit different. You no longer have different styles, just one that has elements from all styles, which feels a bit underwhelming at first. A lot of weapon Heat Actions are too similar and have the same animations. It´s nothing major though and the game is really fun.

Kiwami 2 is fantastic but it's on the new Dragon Engine and Kiryu feels really gutted at the start due to the new weightiness and the system reverting back to one style. Once you put a little time in though it's a blast.

There is a "features" trailer that showed the p.i. angle and included things like stealth sections and using drones to get photos and the like. It's also dragon engine but the MC has two fighting styles.

it was at least balanced in 5, since bosses could easily block all of your attacks, so you were forced to go back to your more capable regular style.

Good. Between the mainline games, the spin offs, the psp game and if you count Kiwani1&2, LostParadise and Judge Eyes, there are 15 Yakuza games. Plus with Kiyry’s story ending after 6, we don’t need anymore games

6 or a 7, it's not the hardest but you have the catfight ring which is easily the worst minigame out of all the yakuza games.

100% CP is fine but 100% completion might be sad.

I'm finding the combat in Kiwami 2 so much fucking better than Kiwami 1, it feels way more fluid. Only issue I have with it is Kiryu ragdolling and flying all over the place, but it's far better than Kiryu falling over and having to spam A to stand up.

Disappointed to know 0 doesn't have the same combat desu, wish i played kiwami 2 after 0 now.
