Because JRPG and WRPG are regional terms, North American and Western Europe RPGs tend to share a lot of the same design philosophies, hence "WRPG"
Japanese RPGs just get their name because they're really different in design philosophy to Western RPG. Japanese turn-based RPGs don't play like Western turn-based RPGs, Japanese action RPGs don't play like Western action RPGs, Japanese tactics RPGs don't play like Western tactics RPGs.
