We had a nice FAST thread the other day, let's keep it up
>Is BallisticNG worth getting or should I play the PS1 Wipeout games instead?
>What game in Omega should I focus on?
>Anything else FAST that's cool

redout... good

can I play ballisticng on a toaster? as in 10 years out of date

I recommend Omega collection if you have psvr but if multiplayer's your thing the online is fucked.
BallisticNG is a great game which supports custom content.
XG3 is my absolute favorite sci-fi racer.
Should be fine. It has incredibly low graphics settings to mimic the PS1 look.

Shit I didn't even read most of your post.
NG is definitely worth it. Classic and modern handling styles, loads of tracks on the workshop, custom soundtrack capabilities.
I would start with HD. I remember the Fury tracks being a bit more technical.

When did Ballistic NG become paid?

How are the PS1 Wipeouts?

Quite a while ago. It's worth every bits though. It's the best Wipeout game

I still play 2097 and 3.

Last thread people were going off about this one, store.steampowered.com/app/463700/Super_Cloudbuilt/
Looks cool

If you played it at any point before it went p2p you can still download and play it for free.

Wipeout 2097 / XL is still one of the best Wipeouts games out there.

they have a very different handling model to the later wipeout games

well worth your time though

Last thread was comfy as hell, shame I missed it when it was alive. Are there any fast racing games that feel like they are, but aren't so fast you can't keep track of what's even going on?

It's just a matter of practice, you get used to it

Start with HD or 2048. Haven't played through Fury, I'm saving it for some other time

BNG on the max speed tier is the only game I thought was actually too fast
At least on a 60fps display

BallisticNG is fucking amazing, the only reason it doesnt make the old Wipeouts pointless for me is because of the slightly worse way it handles wall collisions. I got it for free ages ago but would gladly pay for it if given the chance to.
Its a very fun game but most levels get hilariously broken once you get good, still a blast to play though and theres even a puzzle like game mode.

link to the previous FAST thread? there mght be some good stuff in it

BNG has no limit to its fast. Turn on Hyperspeed and it gets even faster, then you have drag mode on standard tracks which is uncontrollably fast, then if that's not fast enough you can directly multiply speed in the console until everything breaks.

you can adjust the speed settings in BNG whenever you feel like the track is just teleporting straight into you, and even the slowest settings still feels fast enough to warm up with

I beat all main events in Wipeout Omega Collection, I don't know why soitards like these games so much
Typical sim/arcade racers like Forza are much cooler

This is a nice thread, there are plenty of other bait shit threads

>3D
>on foot fast, no vehicles
>platformer or racer
What are some fast games like this

...

>Super Cloudbuilt
>Jet Set Radio Future from what I hear
>AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
>DeadCore

lol at least play an actual sim instead of that baby shit

Let me change that.
>third person
>f-zero or Sonic Unleashed kinda fast with fast animations
I've searched high and low but I doubt this game even exists. Everything fast nowadays is in cars.

Vanquish

can i gift my digital copy of redout to someone? i really don't like it. you can't see shit when going fast and the gameplay is clunky, confusing and it'snot satisfying at all to pull off a narrow turn

Sure give it to me
steamcommunity.com/id/ShinyDaysAtarashiiKaze/

That's a shooter, anything that's a platformer or racer

zoomer games

Zoomers can't handle the speed, it's all the sugar

Did you not check Super Cloudbuilt? Its literally what you describe
youtu.be/GQX27XTs8gc
Also maybe the electric jester sequel?

see

The last few levels are quite difficult though.

The skull ones? Yeah they were deliberately built to prevent a lot of the exploits people found in the normal levels

What happened to formula fusion?

Theyve renamed it to Pacer and are making new content for it and tweaking gameplay
