Do they even have any ongoing stories now? I seem to remember the final ongoing arc involved the devourer, and then there were just small mini stories after that before I lost interest.

I was genuinely hooked to the lore during the chaos lord saga, but after that was over there wasnt much left with the direction they were heading.

DragonFable had a banger story though, bit more nuanced and serious

Original adventure quest was a fun nostalgic browser game but Worlds is actual pay2win garbage, at least back a decade or so when I tried to play it.

I believe all of them are "stand-alone" experiences, but share some connectivity with each other like alternate universes but not crucial to a story.
Right? I really gotta give it to AE because they're actually capable of making some decent stories in their own style. What seems to be a dumb generic setting (fantasy anime with lolrandom humor) could actually be worked out to be something to be enjoyed and maybe even taken seriously

Actually went back to it with a new account since I had forgotten my old one. Now the maps too big and there are too many main quests, and I'd rather it just go back to when they got that Samurai update, much easier to follow and the intro quest wasn't so "this is srs bzns" and more "We just wanna have fun".
Everything in it sucks now and I wanna go back.
I did eventually find my original account password and username though, written on the inside of a wooden house toy, and I can't believe I actually completed every possible quest at the time of the Samurai update.
