Like was said, the DS version went out of it's way to ruin characters as almost everybody has to have 'oh so quirky!' accents (Alena is forever ruined in localizations because of this) and they just plain botched up Bianca in the DS version period. Debora didn't have that problem so it was deliberate to make Bianca more grating (intentional character sabotage?).

That's the whole reason Ladja turns them to stone, so they can watch the world burn without being able to see anything.

PS2 version has orchestral OST and 3D
