Hello Yea Forums. I am an insider who has recently gained some info regarding a new Nintendo Direct on July 3rd. I don't know all the contents of the Direct, but I would like to share what I do know.
The Direct starts out with information for Hero and Banjo. Hero will come out in Patch 3.2, which will not add much besides Hero.
Banjo will release officially with Patch 4.0, which will not only add Banjo, but will also add Stadium modes including Break the Targets, Board the Platforms, and Home Run Contest. But, there is one more new stadium mode: Beat the Clock, where you must beat an obstacle course specific to each fighter within a time frame.
Information for Animal Crossing: New Horizons multiplayer mode is revealed. You can play with up to 4 friends at once. There is also a new option called "Always Open", which will allow your Friends to visit your town whenever you allow them to. There is also a mini port of Amiibo Festival (without the Amiibo) called Village Festival, a party game mode separate from the actual game.
There are two DLC styles for Super Mario Maker 2: Super Mario Bros 2. (coming in the Fall) and Super Mario 64 (2020). Although Super Mario 64 is 2.5D, you are able to use the special caps like Wing and Steel.
Next up, a game fans have long been awaiting for, a new Paper Mario game. But, this one is not like Color Splash or Sticker Star. This one is a spiritual successor to Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Nintendo GameCube. It brings back Partners and also the classic chapter format. The title? Well, they aren't ready to reveal that yet.
The direct is over. But maybe it's not. "We have one last thing to show you", Miyamoto-san says. As he snaps his fingers and the switch sound effect plays.
A trailer for Metroid Prime 4. It is very vague and doesn't reveal too much information. But we finally get a subtitle.
METROID PRIME 4: VENGEANCE
