How hard would be to make a BNA fighting game?
How hard would be to make a BNA fighting game?
Like a 2d fighter like Fighter Z? We already have a mediocre 3d arena fighter.
more like kof 14 with low poly models with some HD hand paint textures.
>fighting game
Hard
>arena brawler
Is there really not one out yet?
Mha one's justice already exists though
it wouldn't be that hard to make a fighting game out of it, most character's abilities are combat based
All the fags bringing up one's justice need to remember that it was utter shit with crappy balance as well. I assume OP wants something that isn't crap.
Honestly, if they stick to the basics with good presentation there's no way people wouldn't lap up a half decent BNA fighter.
I'm a spic so my design would be more influenced by kof than crapcom garbage or anime fighters dogshit.
all arena fighters are trash anyway. They are strictly for fanservice

Im just posting who has the best quirk out of everyone
>hurr durr he cant touch his opponent :D
Thats why he touches literally anyone else you mongoloids. By himself hes the weakest, but with others nearby hes legit OP. If this dude were to touch any of the pro heroes like Eraser then hes easily the best person to have on support
Pretty hard since very few of the characters actually have a moveset that could translate into fighting games.
Izuku and Bakugou could work very handily, as could Iida. But Someone like Uraraka, who's only ability is being a normal level human who can levitate stuff, is very tricky. Maybe if you gave her an accessory, like a large slab of some kind of metal that she makes weightless, then releases as she swings it, but then, you face the problem of her actually never having done that in the manga/show (The closest we've gotten to that is her Galaxy Homerun move, where she makes the support column of a building weightless, and swings it to hurl rocks at her foe).
Uraraka, at least, has combat training. She can grapple and shit. However, you've got to consider characters like Mineta and Kirishima who don't really use martial arts and carry themselves completely by their quirk. Apart from hardening, how would you handle creating a moveset for Kirishima? Give him Rekkas? Make his hardening a sort of stance system? What kind of moves would he have outside of hardening stance?
Then, there are people like Todoroki, who you would think works out pretty well for a fighting game upon first glance, but when you think about it, would be very, very hard to do in a fair way. Roki likes to end things as quickly as possible; this involves just immediately creating ice-bergs, or catching people's feet with ice, then proceeding into Ice-berg creation. That's definitely something that'd take up the entire screen and do massive damage, so that'd definitely require to be locked behind some meter or something; but this is, as far as we can tell, just one of his normal moves. He sends out waves of ice like they're nothing. So already, 2D fighters are out of the question, because the only way you could dodge something like that is if you had another axis of movement.
At least that's how I see it, I'm not a fuckin' game designer, I'm a nobody on Yea Forums
they could work as team assists.
Yeah, he's basically a +1 to any hero currently on deck, except for people with stockpile-type quirks.
Plus, one has to consider that he's only the best in situations where he knows whoever's quirk he's using. That way, he can practice or at least have an idea of how to use that quirk effectively. There's also the matter of him not having the same specialized equipment as everyone else.
But if all things are even, yeah. Pretty sick. Imagine having to fight TWO Shotos.
I want to make tadpoles with her
Didn't stop his team from getting swept by cutie raka and the others and he had a good set of abilities then
There's already a shitty arena fighter
>boku no spic academia
I stopped reading this in January did Mr 7 Quirks do anything relevant yet?
nah the villain squad has been the main characters for a while
Ya but making a decent fighting game is hard itself
Just make it 2D its really not something even worth talking about. I blame Naruto for the anime 3D arena craze to begin with.
shit anime only for kids
the literal definition of shonen is teenager bro.
