Don't have one and I'm at work but I'll post anyway because Hollow Knight looks cool

Currently Smash mostly. Super hyped for MM2 and CRT though.

Also considering buying some of the Neogeo ports (mostly metal slug), I'm curious as to how do they run and if they're pixel perfect/not blurry.

Got playthroughs of Cadence and Lapis x Labyrinth on the go at the moment. I still need to finish FFX-2, then move on to XII, but with CTR out this weekend, they're getting pushed back even more.

I want to play more Last Remnant but that game is still so fucking weird and obtuse. I don't like having to have a guide open 100% of the time.

Attached: 118084.jpg (300x450, 26K)

Started with Animal Crossing New Leaf last week. Also playing through ace attorney for the first time

Attached: IMG_20190603_123655.jpg (3000x4000, 3.48M)

comfy is just a code word for boring desu

Well, you must be the comfiest guy in any room you're in.

Bought Jacksbox Party Pack 3 for a party a few days ago but besides the t-shirt game it wasn't exactly as amazing as I heard, will probably try again and if not, we'll go back to 1-2 Switch and Smash.

Besides that I'm playing Minit between Dai Gyakuten Saiban on 3DS and have no idea what to do outside the hotel to progress forward

About to play duck game with my coworkers on our lunch break

Attached: duckgame4_mgah.jpg (734x416, 115K)

Let's Go Eevee. Don't ask why.

I only have Smash currently and I really want to get another game. I've played Mario Kart 8 on Wii U already and I'm not sure if buying it would be worth it. Splatoon 2 seems like an okay choice, but I don't really want to spend 80 bucks for the base game and the DLC. What should I do?

Playing FF7 for the first time. Waiting for MM2

Attached: 983E96BF-CCB8-40C9-B2F7-A37A7FA267E5.jpg (528x552, 56K)

The Splatoon 2 DLC is 100% singleplayer and all multiplayer DLC is free updates.

Splatoon 2 is going to be having it's final Splatfest soon so if you want to be part of that, then get it now. Also the DLC is fantastic.

Necrodancer

I'm fucking terrible

I'm no good at judging framerate but they never seemed blury to me.

I thought you needed the DLC to play as Octolings?
Judging from what I've seen, yeah I does look pretty good. Dunno if I wanna shell out 80 bucks on only one game though when I can buy two or so with this sale.

Yeah but who gives a shit. Is it worth $20 just for a cosmetic change? It adds nothing to the actual game.

Attached: i_hug_that_feel.png (500x461, 31K)

You can always get the DLC later on. I used gold points to purchase mine.

Hey, I just bought Necrodancer too since it was 80% off last night, I haven't tried it yet, but it was such an incredibly good deal I couldn't let it pass.

Why not buy Kart and S2 used? It's not like Nintendo blocks the games in any way or people can scratch carts like they do with discs.

It's like 54 bucks used at GameStop, and I don't really trust eBay. Unless there's some other shop I can get used games.
True, I suppose. I guess I'm kinda autistic in that I want to have all options available to me.

Spelunker Party for great justice

Bought some switch games in a bundle but it had XC2 Torna physical, which I don't have the base game. Should I still get it?

Attached: 1464947529292.gif (394x297, 1.26M)

>want to finally play Hollow Knight and Shovel Knight
>CTR and MM2 are right around the corner
>so is ShB

HK is like 7 bucks right now. Go get it

Just started playing Hollow Knight since it was on sale and it's supposedly a great game. Really liking it so far.

I have been playing as the bard since my thumbs can't handle cadence, still pretty shit at it.

I don't think you need the base game for the physical version of torna
As for if it's worth it it's OK but the core crystal mechanic drains your spirit.

I don't understand people playing it in tv mode, as you take it off the box it's clearly made to be a handleheld console, I seriously never took the gamepad thing, nor the tv hub or those cons wrappers, just the power adapter, console and cons

Attached: woman-holding-arm-fat-bat-wings-500x366.jpg (500x366, 19K)

Is the sale still on? I have just enough funds on my account to get Hollow Knight but I already got 5 new games for this thing in the past week + CTR in two days so I'll probably just wait.

On another note, is there any game that uses HD rumble as well as Lumines? I knew it was supported but it really adds a lot in this game. All I can think of is Mario Odyssey where its only there in a handful of instances and 1-2-Switch where the rumble is pretty much the entire "game".

Attached: IMG_1366.jpg (4032x3024, 2.05M)

Grinding out a 100% run on BOTW....

Gamestop rips you off massively, you really should look into buying used online. Just look at the seller's ratings.
You can get some other great games cheap on the eshop right now, like Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze which is literally the perfect game

Get to still lay down on couch/bed and don't have to focus on a screen a foot away from your face. Better couch multiplayer with friends

just got last cadence of hyrule 2 days ago, been enjoying this game so far

Do I buy Cadence or the original Crypt lads

>$4 vs $25
Figure it out.

Playing FF7. I've played it plenty of times but it's nice being on a handheld, I don't have my PSP any more. A few issues here and there but not a bad port.

I got money to blow loser price doesn't matter to me

Then buy both you dumbass bitch.

Fuck you maybe I will

Then buy both, retard

Buy both, amazing games, I've been playing Splatoon 2 like crazy for months now.

Buy both then idiot.

Then buy both, nigger

Fuck nintendo for not being able to buy games at the precise price point.
"Wanna buy a 4$ game?" Just add 10$ to your account!

What dumbass place do you live in? If you use Paypal you can only add the exact amount.

Just started The Last Remnant, currently up to this guy (feels like a bigger casual filter than Matador). Such a fun game.

>not buying both
It’s oike you’re so,e regarded nigger, or something.

forgot to attach pic, rip

>Whatcha playing?
My 3DS plus the occasional round of MK8D and Splatoon.

I’ve slowed down my Switch pickups beyond obviously low print games since I’m already drowning in multiple backlogs.

Looking forward to getting to XC2 and the new AC game next year.

Attached: 39E5E69D-D52F-4C47-BDDB-434B460C15B9.jpg (4032x3024, 2.88M)

i ordered a switch and its coming today
i hope the sale is still up
i want a zelda and maybe a ff

World of FF Maxima is on sale and that game is real good.

The singleplayer campaign in the DLC is absolutely amazing though, top quality video games. I couldn't care less about playing as an octoling and it was worth every penny to me.

And as for finding good deals, I buy all my vidya and electronic stuff through mercari. It's like ebay but more loose. Think of it like online craigslist really. You get a lot of people who don't quite understand the value of what they're selling listing things at great prices. I've seen Splatoon 2 around 25 at its lowest and 40 occasionally, and unlike ebay you can always try to barter down. If you're worried about getting scammed, more often than not they take the side of the buyer.

Is this a joke post?
Nice.

ontopic: Romancing SaGa 2 and sometimes Picross 3

Get this, world of FF has a ton of content

I haven't played WoFF but the VII and IX ports are pretty weak. This
youtube.com/watch?v=GOu4ZcDXhdE
Is a good video summarizing the issues, and the dude has a similar one for VII, but basically the best way to play the games is either on PS1 or PC with mods. Unfortunately, I'm assuming the VIII port will be the same way.
I haven't played FFX on Switch but I prefer the original of that as well because it has the unfucked faces, though that's more of a nitpick by comparison.
FFXII is fantastic on Switch though. Zodiac Age was already a great remaster and they did a good job porting it over.

N++ is a great hidden gem on the Switch, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes tough platformers

WOFF is nothing like the VII/IX remasters.

Used switches are worth it, right? How much are they usually?

I was assuming not, but I was just running through all of the FF ports on Switch.
It's really just the PS1 ports Square can't seem to get right no matter how many times they try, which is unfortunate because those are some of the best in the series.

I played the shit out of it on Miniclips and Xbox back in the day how is it on switch?

Is there s SINGLE good god damn reason why every port of FF9 still has the most unacceptable loading times ever? I can't play it because 90% of the game is fucking loading into battles.

You can, user. You must be a fucking moron to not know how.

I played a bit of it on the vita and wasn't really a fan of the stacking mechanic, not enough to completely repel me but I wasn't really feeling it. Is it still worth playing despite that?

You can get a switch for 220-240 new on either offerup or mercari. If you're not in US then tough luck

They're based on mobile ports, which are known to be minimum-effort trash. FFIX jumps to 15fps once a battle is initiated (including the load transition) and the game's logic is tied to that 15fps, which is why it always feels so sluggish. They could've fixed the code and untied the two, but like I said it was a minimum effort port.

Far better, considering it has an absolute fuckton of levels, new enemies, lots of color palettes to unlock, as well as co-op/stage builder/etc.
My only personal gripe is that jump is mapped to A instead of B on switch, but that's a small nitpick desu. Also has an amazing ost.

Jesus, you're crazy, there's a shit ton of stuff that makes it close to impossible for someone to rip you off. You can get back cash, they can get their account blocked, and if you see a seller with a ton of positive comments, there's zero chance to get fucked.

How's the framerate?

Maxima has a ton of optional/endgame content. New dungeons, lots of coliseum battles with new monsters to catch, skits with tough endgame fights as well. Maxima is way more FF for your money, and definitely worth sticking with. How far did you get on vita?

This Also the battery is shit and pro controller is better than joycons

Cadence

60 FPS solid

I normally play one or two rounds of Smash on my breaks at work. Pretty comfy desu.

I really did mean just a little bit. I was only a couple hours in at the first dungeon so it's not a big deal to start over.

I've recently started up Tales of Vesperia, but I keep coming back for a little bit of My Big Sister.

Fair enough. It does take a little time to pick up pace. You won't have had time to really get stuck into the stacking system since you had so few monsters to choose from. Once you have access to more monsters it gets more and more fun. I recommend giving it another shot for sure. Easily one of the best JRPGs on the system. Runs well too.

>tried to get back into smash bros
>fanbase will not shut up about their roster wishes and waifufaggotry
>dump the game

>try to get back into Splatoon
>fanbase will not stop talking about how they love squid cunny
>dump the game as trash too

>realize every single game falls into this problem
>wait for more info on Metroid Prime 4 as my switch collects more dust, just go back to hollow knight in the meantime

Starting to question if I should just sell my Switch.

Attached: 1537999349022.png (1294x982, 63K)

Every game has a shitty community if you look deep enough. It's true of any series. Just play what you like and ignore them.

>dropping a game because of the fanbase
only time this applies well is if its an MMO

Attached: 1505574963358.png (643x480, 332K)

Puyo Puyo Tetris.
I want my one minute sprint already.

Attached: 1511200780873.jpg (326x371, 33K)

When it's a multiplayer game, these are the people I have to deal with regularly. And for the best experience, I enjoy being able to chat with my teammates over some IRC client (preferably not discord). If they're too busy jerking off to Marina or Twintelle or Zero Suit Samus, I can't deal with that.

Nothing

Final fantasy 7

Yea Forumsirgins, I'm a boomer who haven't touched muh switch since botw and currently sick in bed.
I would like to play some comfy violence and/or metroidvania type of games. Can you guys recommend something good?

Enjoy not playing games then you beta cuck.

Attached: 1560635898655.jpg (189x242, 10K)

pley korby borb frens

I'd rather my library selection be limited then play bad games.

The Messenger is perfect for you. Top tier music, ninja gaiden feel metroidvania, and has some free DLC coming soon
youtube.com/watch?v=GjmIWMataSI

Kamiko, or My Big Sister.

Ghost 1.0

Oof

Bad community does not make a bad game, dumbass. You don't even have to talk to people while you play them yet you force yourself to.

>Bad community does not make a bad game, dumbass.
Bad communities are attracted to bad games. A game that encourages waifushit, for example, has no redeeming features.

Neat picture op

>buying multiplat single player Indies
Why?

Attached: 1558033189799.png (894x773, 48K)

Communities are attached to good games, and when they get large enough a shitty vocal minority is the first thing you see.

DoA X3

Poop'n'Play.

thanks. On a side note, Is hollow knight good? I heared it had some "complete" definitive editions with all the dlc on other platforms and less technical issues.

>stops playing the game because fanbase is shit
Don't sell your Switch, user. Stop playing games completely. Aren't you embarrassed when in front of all those people who call games a waste of time? I mean, since you obviously care what people think.

People will make waifushit out of literally anything featuring female characters that aren't hideous to look at. And even then you can't be sure. Doesn't even have to be female either. Do you think all Zelda games are bad because of the droves of threads full of fags desperate for his cute twink butthole?

Nothing at the moment. Waiting for FE and Astral Chain.

Oh, so it's the work of a "vocal minority"? Then where's the rest of the fandom? Why are they so content with keeping quiet and doing nothing?

That's an awful convenient excuse to defend things like pic related.

Attached: now THIS is autism.png (712x644, 77K)

Hollow Knight on switch has all content and runs smoothly. It's the best version of the game IMO since it plays perfectly in handheld with no compromises. I think there are better metroidvanias personally, but you really can't go wrong with the price/content ratio.

I think Hollow Knight is good, and if you buy it now, all the DLC that has been done is included at the price. The only thing that's going to be separate is Silksong.

Necrodancer first, ultimately both.

Why? Is it because you wanna fuck Eevee?

People will sexualize anything, that's a given, but waifushit is when you spend 24/7 obsessing over your waifu of choice, ruining any and all game discussion. You literally make it the focus of why you even play the game. That is why I drop the games and their communities.

>Do you think all Zelda games are bad because of the droves of threads full of fags desperate for his cute twink butthole?
Yes, I do, because they outnumber anyone actually trying to discuss the game.

I'm not defending anything user, I'm just here to talk about switch games. What are you playing at the moment?

Pic related is right though, Yea Forums couldn't stop talking about Breath of the Wild a whole year after release. You faggots even donated to that emulator patreon just so you could play it

Mercari, eh? I'll check it out. Thanks user.

Pretty sure Yea Forums wouldn't donate

>Why are they so content with keeping quiet and doing nothing?
The proper way to address autists trying to stir shit is to not address them at all. Unfortunately people bite every fucking time so they keep doing it.

You can play the physical version of Torna standalone. It comes with a code that lets you download the rest of the expansion pass for the base game, but since you're buying used it's possible that code is gone or already used.

Nothing really interests me at the moment but I am excited for Dragon Quest Builders 2.

It's incredibly stupid that you chalk this up to Zelda games and not to Yea Forums. You basically have to be baiting.

Sorry for wanting to be cautious, I guess?

Why? I can understand finishing all shrines and sidequests but you couldn't pay me to find all Deku seeds and level every equipment to max.

>Yes, I do, because they outnumber anyone actually trying to discuss the game.
Si you're unable to form an opinion of your own and have to rely on how others react to a game to decide if you like it or not.

haven't played either, but torna is a prequel and I've read you should play the other game first though

This is the hardest game ever, screw all the others

>He stops enjoying single player games because of its online community
Yikes and autismpilled

I'm nearing the end of my Hollow Knight run, but I can't discuss it because every thread gets invaded by Zelda and Nier fans, saying that "this westernshit can't compare to our games". Why Zelda and Nier? Because they all came out in 2017, so they have a grudge of sorts.

Look, I played Zelda from start to finish. I even did a 3 heart run and didn't just rush to ganon, since people praised the divine beasts and shrines everywhere. I was "missing out" according to them so I gave the game a genuine try. Wasn't a big fan of it. I try and discuss it on Yea Forums or ANY website for that matter, and what do I get as a result? Console war shitposting, porn spam, and people unironically citing metacritic scores and game journalists as trustworthy. I'm very sorry, but I will not consider your game good if THIS is the best foot forward that you have to offer.

They're brand new so should I still get XC2?

seeIf your aim is to convince me that these games are the greatest thing ever, you're gonna need a better argument than "omg my waifu is in it" or "this game got a 97, snoys btfo!"

Yeah I have no problem if you didn't care for BotW, writing it off as waifushit is just goofy though.

Well you'll have Torna, try it out a little first and if you like it then yeah, get Xenoblade 2.

>It's another "ACFag ruins a good thread" episode
For FUCKS SAKE, STOP REPLYING TO HIM.

???

Look at how many threads have game discussion in them, and then compare that to the mountain of people posting edits of Zelda farting or showing off her ass.

How is romancing saga 2? I am up for some turn-based combat but I am not in in the mood for a boring linear game. I

Resident Evil 4, just got to the island. For the first time playing this game, I used a rocket launcher on a boss (Salazar) because I hate that little fucker.

I just finished Gato Roboto. And I'm hooked to Downwell.
Also I just bought Travis Strikes Again and it's really fun.

It's a game you play for the systems, not the story. The Last Remnant is similar. Linear story, but tons of mechanical flexibility and build potential.

I just preordered Bloodstained despite having a PC/PS4 that would run it better because I really like handhelds and the Vita version is RIP. I picked up Doom and Skyrim on sale (I really, really like handhelds) and have also been playing Okami and Katana Zero. Looking forward to Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina but I'll probably pick up DxM on sale since it comes out 2 weeks after Astral Chain and I'll still be busy with that.

Picked up Katamari Damacy: Reroll, shit's been comfy as fuck

Attached: 1513544833406.jpg (330x366, 24K)

morning?
it's 17 in white's people land.

The new Daemon X Machina trailer still looks like it has all the same problems the demo had. FPS is still trash and it's still too floaty. There's no weight to the game at all like Armored Core had. Starved for mech games but it's kinda bad. Not feeling it.

>17

Attached: 1556298192869.png (625x470, 459K)

Check out treehouse, FPS is much better.

>armyfag

>pic
LotGH? I'm watching it for the first time now and its pretty neat.

Unless it's 60 FPS I'm gonna have to pass. I'm really sick of making sacrifices for the sake of muh portability.

im sorry.

Romancing Saga 2 is definitely NOT linear, user. And the game mechanic (stats, combat) is actually quite complex.
Good thing, you can pick NG+ at any time if you fuck up something. The more you fight, the harder your enemies become. Do not run from fights as running also counts toward your battle rank.

Is there any 3rd party hardware people would recommend ? I'm thinking about HORI but i'm unsure after the 3rd party dock disasters

Attached: 1425661273878.jpg (434x630, 108K)

is it fun?

Yes, it is.
Give it a try. I think it's still on sale on eShop (ends today).

yay my switch just got here
i bought ff7 and i will get BotW physically when i go out this evening

Did another run of Bloodstained CotM to get prepped for the Switch release next week. I’d get it now, but my comp ain’t optimized for anything beyond like Marvel 3, and I’ve had very little desire to touch my PS4 recently. I know I’m gimping myself with the Switch version, but I told myself I was gonna buy the Switch version back in Feb, so there.
Once I get back from the gym, I’ll bump out another world on Travis Strikes Again, do a bit of World of Final Fantasy, and maybe get to grinding out some Blade Quests on XB2 to get ready for an NG+ run.

Attached: 47AA0E1D-F680-4327-90CC-37CA84BA22FD.jpg (713x1024, 164K)

Yeah, the demo made me kinda hesitant but I still like the mech aesthetic. I'll probably hold off until it's around $30.

nothing atm, waiting for the next game i want on switch to come out, which is crash racing, then itll be astral chain, then luigi's mansion 3

What about Project Nimbus?

Guys, redpill me on Citizens of Space.
Also, pic related. WTF? Why can't I buy this?

I know. The game was selling for 9,99 eurobucks here (if I'm not mistaken). I just went to eShop to purchase Hollow Knight, scrolled through new releases and saw this. Not available.

Also, Citizens of Space is a different Switch game...

>Bought a Switch in December

>It looks fucking amazing

I'm blown away. Yea Forums lied to me. For reference: I do most of my gaming on a 2080ti/144hz 2k setup.

Games like Hollow Knight also really stand out when played in dock.

Buying Hollow Knight for seven bucks feels like I'm stealing.

does a screen protector help? I'm pretty sure some of them claim to be anti-static.

I have screen protector and it doesn't prevent it

Be at least thankful you don't have cats, user. It's a constant battle.

Mine does.

What should I practice in Smash without online? I can already do shorthops thanks to the two-button macro and teching. All of my offline friends are unavailable and we were planning on buying the family pack online anyway for a cheaper price.

Super fucking hyped to get my copy of it

Attached: 1560368312462.jpg (1080x1080, 223K)

That's a very impressive looking LE there. So much so that I doubt we'd get it Stateside.

That's a nice take on a steelbook, I like it.

Apparently this is the Murican one. I'm sure you could always just import it.

I preordered mine for €79, just gotta get them before they go out of stock as amazon is already listening them as €101

Attached: 1560368415372.jpg (1920x1080, 219K)

Yeah, I see I can get it still from fucking Gamestop, and I may just do that. I just like the look of the black cover for the art book, and of course the overly nostalgic steelbook.

What's currently the best grip? I play 50/50 TV and handheld so something that's easy to remove or dockable would be nice.

Just ordered a Switch, what game should I pick up first?

From what I've seen people prefer the Satisfye Pro Grip and the Skull and Co.

MHGU for pure amount of content/entertainment
BOTW if you enjoy collecting shit and exploring
tropical dong if you want a legit 10/10 game

Not that user but I'm considering getting MHGU after enjoying Worlds a lot, does the constant loading screens bother you?

No, loading screen complaints are a meme. They're maybe two seconds max, I barely notice they exist.

Probably asked a bunch but is it worth buying a switch now or should I wait for some updated model?

Good afternoon, friends

Attached: IMG_20190618_122908-01.jpg (3231x4308, 3M)

After 100% cadence and getting a 15th position worldwidein yesterday's daylily challenge I wanted more like it, as the game is really too short, so I started playing crypt of the necrodance.

I wish it was just more cadence.

Its a piece of shit console with dog shit games What do you think

Yeah, because when my friends and I play some party games, we love to do it in a small ass screen.

got a cheap Switch in gr8 condition a good price, tablet only though
shit's hackable so whatever, time for free vidya

Just finished up the TSA DLC (what a fucking ride)
Starting on Cadence of Hyrule and Gato Roboto

How much did you pay?

Attached: E93C1809-A864-405E-9B51-4C47A916FD48.jpg (4032x3024, 2.41M)

$170 in "excellent condition"

You didn’t save much when you consider buying dock/charger and joycons.

As someone who doesn't play Splatoon, what does this mean? Final splatfest, is that an event? Will the game be significantly more dead after that?

That's true, but it's a hackable Switch and my goal wasn't saving much but rather to get one I can run CFW on and play emulated games on top of upcoming Switch titles for free
Also, I wanted the splatoon joycons anyway, and used joycons would've been nasty. No dock is a bummer though.

If we were friends I'd probably give you my dock.

t. launch day switch playing exclusively in handheld mode

Well that's sad to hear, man.
I've been used Mecha console games not hitting 60 fps for a while, so maybe my standards are lower at this point

>Hollow Knight
Literally just beat Radiance like 2 hours ago. Feeling pretty good and ready for Silksong

Should I hack my Switch bros?

What are the Voucherfags buying with their 2 game vouchers? I'm probably getting one from my mom soon, and unsure what I'm gonna buy. Definitely Link's Awakening but that's probably gonna be a bit short so I want a longer game to accompany it. Thinking of Fire Emblem, maybe Astral Chain.

Kinda regret not grabbing mhgu when it was 50% off. Does it go on sale often?

Attached: F516C7E4-731E-45C7-A21B-EBD4E4C0FD98.jpg (960x629, 88K)

Playing Hollow Knight as well and loving it. Kind of wandering around now, feeling out where I should go next.

Just bought Torna as well so I'll look for to that. I loved XC2.

do it pussy

It's still on sale, but physical copies go for 30 bucks on ebay anyway

No

if you want cfw for free video games and emulation, get an older model before they're all gone
if you plan to buy your games, maybe wait for a newer model, it'd suck if a new one came out for the same price

I’ve been going back through Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild after the direct announcement

>have older model
>want free games
>scared to death of getting banned from online
It's the first and so far only console I've ever cared about playing a multiplayer game on. I can't lose that. But I also don't want to buy another Switch just for online either.

two options:
1. you buy a SX OS license, it has emunand natively
2. you wait for Atmosphere's emunand implementation to get a few patches (it actually released today but its experimental)

>What is emunand?
The ability to launch the NAND (aka the OS of the Switch) from the SD card. This way, you can have sort of a "dual boot" system running, where you can choose to either launch the legit NAND or the EmuNAND (Custom firmwares and shit)
Going online with CFW ain't a good idea, but with your regular NAND you can play your LEGIT games online without risking a ban at all.

is Dark souls worth getting on Switch for 25 bucks?

Attached: 1474695282664.jpg (636x636, 27K)

Just finished the Travis Strikes Again DLC and bought the newest shantae but i dont know how much im going to actually play of it. ill probably just play ff7

I don't know why anyone would buy third party games on Switch unless they loved handhelds like I do. It's worth it if you do.

Definitely. Online is pretty populated still.

Don't if you own any other system to play it on besides maybe PS3 and 360. Me and my friend did too and playing it at 30 fps with shitty sound and wrong controls feels bad. Real bad.

Why is Bloodstained not 60 FPS on Switch? ffs

Maybe they'll patch it later, they did that with Dead Cells for example

Yeah, they definitely should because it looks like a game that would have no issue hitting 60 fps on Switch. I have a PC and PS4 Pro but wanted a handheld version. Half the fps is a hard compromise.

>all the games I own on Switch I've beaten
>all the multiplats I like I just play on my Xbox
>9 days until sega ages virtua racing comes out in the US, 10 days until mario maker 2 and neptunia rpg
how do I get better taste/enjoy more games?

Darkest Dungeon

At the very end and just wiped my 4 favorite guys....

playing nsane trilogy while I wait for ctr on Friday

I recommend that anyone who hasn't bought Hollow Knight go get it right now. This game is great and it's half off.

>Mario Maker 2
>Collection of Mana physical Edition
>Astral Chain
>Bloodstained if it get good reviews
>D00M Eternal

Any other game I should buy this year?

Does the switch still bend or was it fixed in newer models?

Attached: 1453603593588.png (598x479, 169K)

MM2, Mana, Astral Chain are your choices. Bloodstained has performance issues and Doom Eternal will have even worse performance if going by Doom 2016's port

rune factory 5

r8 this games I'm playing to buy
>XBC2
>Blade Strangers on sale
>Ultra Street Fighter II either on sale or used (won't pay more than 20$ for this)
>BOTW
>Splatoon
>ARMS

>Reading reviews
So you like, value other people's opinions over yourself, huh?

Attached: New Wojak.jpg (647x644, 45K)

Be happy you can still play and complete games

played splatoon for a week until my trial of online ran out
I'm not paying for a month when my copy of SMM2 will come with 12 months of it so I'm just playing CotN for now

I believe anything third party is fine as long as its not a dock/pertains to docks in anyway, except for the one dock which is just a new housing shell for your old one but a fraction of the size

You can't?

XBC2: 8/10
Blade Strangers: never played it
Ultra Street Fighter II: 7/10
BOTW: 10/10
Splatoon: only if you'e planning to play the online and expansion (8/10)
ARMS: 6/10 didn't like it but someone else should vouch for this since I only borrowed the game for a few days

Attached: 1454127087475.png (470x454, 11K)

>Splatoon
9/10, make sure to get the Octo Expansion to make it 11/10.

are you me?
>yellow joycons
>Satisfye
>Skull & Co. joystick caps?

just finished sonic 1 and 2 and im gonna start baba is you soon

Playing Skyrim on switch because Todd took my family hostage. Please send help.
But for real, the motion controls are great, why haven't you bought my game yet?

Also playing binaries because it's fun and cheap.

XBC2 9/10, 10/10 with DLC
BOTW 9/10
Splatoon 9/10 if you like playing online

game?

r8 and post accessories!
>Mayflash Magic-NS adapter (usb-a to usb-c cable adapter included)
>Hori Multiport USB playstand
>Dreamgear starter kit (pic related)
>Ugreen ethernet adapter
>Xenoblade Pro Controller
>Smash Bros. Ultimate Pro Controller
Right now I'm looking for a pair of those yellow joy-cons, power A chrome metroid controller, ugreen usb 3.0 hub, another Dock set and a travel case that stores 2 pro controllers.

forgot pic

>bought Tales of Vesperia physical at best buy last friday
>got Necrodancer, Hollow Knight, Final Fantasy VII and IX from the eshop sale

lads I have never been more comfy

Attached: 1559701784729.gif (244x270, 824K)

I've got Picross S3 ready to go whenever I've got a new podcast to listen to.
I also just picked up Sega Ages Sonic since it's half off. The drop dash is a cute addition, but the game's physics have no idea how to handle it.
Looking forward to Virtua Racing next week.

Attached: sonic walk comparison.gif (540x186, 138K)

How does it run? 30 FPS for a 9 year old game is off-putting

Change your zip code to a state without sales tax you fucking retard.

Attached: boogeyman.jpg (966x723, 65K)

Anyone have any experience with 3rd party pro controllers? I'm not spending fucking 70 bucks on something that supposedly has a garbage dpad

Attached: 1560848572622.jpg (749x780, 114K)

>supposedly
there is no supposedly, the d pad is shit

neat cases

if you can use ebay, go find a pro controller there. Got mine for 30 new.
They changed it on the new models IIRC. Dunno if its true cause I have no issues with mine

Who here is getting CTR?
Bit worried about the microtransaction theory going around.
Also, anyone else hyped for Youngblood, Eternal and Witcher 3?

they buy both, wantwit

don't do it

best buy has a sale on official pro controllers right now for $50

I like to play Stardew Valley before bed. Still might sell the Switch once I'm done tho

>he fell for the meme

Attached: yikes.jpg (255x300, 13K)

ffxii, fantastic game

as far as nintendo knows, i live in Oregon lol

I must be lucky on that front since my pro controller has a perfect d-pad. It's my go-to PC controller now.

Attached: jerry.jpg (225x225, 5K)

I won't lie user, last time I turned on my Switch was over a week ago, and it was to play Smash for ten minutes while I waited for the power to come back on in my house. Probably won't be using my Switch much until Hollow Knight: Silksong comes out, and then after that I won't use it til BOTW2.

>he doesnt love squid cunny

absolutely unbased

phoenix wright. addicting

Buy the pro-controller, faggot

It's a good time to get one or are the new version around the corner? I miss that comfy feel

What's your line up for the future?
Peachball was supposed to entertain me for June. But it got pushed back to July 9th
>July - FETH
>August - Astral Chain
>September - Daemon X Machina
>October - DQ or MUA3
>November - Pokemon Shield
>December - Nothing.
2020 - Trials of Mana, Animal Crossing

Attached: 1555654997389.gif (1024x1024, 665K)

Anyone try this? it looks fun but idk if i want to buy it

Attached: akane-cover.cover_large.jpg (600x600, 85K)

>June - CTR
>July - MUA3 and Youngblood
>August - Maybe Astral Chain
>September - Link's Awakening and DQ.
>2019 - Doom Eternal and Witcher 3.

I feel like I'm the only one more hyped for My Friend Pedro than CTR. Looking foward to MM2 and not currently playing anything. I want to get back into Okami but I'm not sure if I would remember where I'm supposed to be going

What's a good site to try and find cheap Switch deals in the UK?
Amazon and GAME list a grey at £270 which seems like a pretty good deal but I probably won't buy it till next month

there are multiple image proofs tho. Unless it was an outside factor?

is Diablo III any good on the switch?

less enemies on-screen and can lag when lots of shit happening on-screen (which is literally everything postgame).

Also, Diablo 3 is no good no matter what platform

>not a big Mario Kart fan
>but know that I'll "need it" if friends come over because people will complain that there's no MK
what do bros

Attached: 112581291.gif (256x192, 101K)

i feel bad for liking the current gen ports like doom and wolfenstein, and feel bad for planning to get the next games in those series' and Witcher 3.

Attached: Misuzu frown.png (184x184, 43K)

It's your money man, don't buy it if it's not something you don't want to play

How? I have Wolfenstein and its dogshit in terms of port and game itself. I can't believe I'll get Switcher 3 too

>July - mostly just playing MM2 since it releases late june, also Clannad
>August - Astral Chain and Collection of Mana
>September - wallet destroyer (DxM, Zelda, DQXI)
>rest of the year - just finishing what I bought, maybe will pick up RF4S or Doraemon Story of Seasons
>Christmas - hopefully stuff like FE, MUA3, LM3 or Dragon Quest Builders 2 are slightly cheaper. I don't really care about any of those but wouldn't hurt to have them in my physical collection.

I raging. I thought Lost Sphear was on the E3 sale which ends in a few hours. I checked last night, on sale, get home from work this afternoon, 49.99. Fuck that. Better go on sale again soon. Guess I got the Mana Collection to sate my thirst at least.

I'm used to playing games at low fps, did for 10 years.

>Clannad
Take that money and instead buy a cheap windows tablet and play all the visual novels you want wherever you want for max comfiness.

It runs just fine and looks pretty even. The brightness is annoying though so you have to tweak your switch's system brightness up. Most games on the switch are 30fps desu so it hasnt really been that noticeable.

Sadly I have heard there are still lots of bugs in the switch version, and there's no way of running console commands.

Oh and its the motion controls of the switch version that feels really great. Imagine aiming exactly where you want like in splatoon.

I already played Clannad on PC and loved it. I just really want a physical copy of it.

Literally me. But I'm also going to be playing Tales of Vesperia somewhere in between

They can buy the fuckin game then

Oh, that's understandable. I just tend to see a surprising amount of people who want to play VNs on a portable system somehow never consider the idea and it's one of the best decisions I've made re: VN consumption, so I try to recommend it.

>2 years later
>physical copies of Switch games are still over 40

Attached: 1467830733683.gif (400x232, 1.83M)

ebay

cock carousel

I bought Dragon Marked for Death. It's like a better Mercenary Kings which isn't saying much. Wasn't worth the price tag.

Anyone have any experience painting the white replacement shells with any advice? Want to get some white joycon/backplate shells to slightly customize but not sure the best approach to take given the material type.

Attached: 51IMtkkZ2BL._SL1000_.jpg (1000x1000, 34K)

How's Octopath Traveler?

Attached: 1531024800547.jpg (250x238, 20K)

Only thing I've got from that list is the Mayflag adapted to play with my Wii U pro controller in docked mode. Works perfectly. Just be warned that if you plan on using it in tabletop mode, the Switch's USB port is retardedly situated right underneath the console so plugging your adapter into it makes it impossible to stand up properly (though I guess you could use a third party stand or something)

already played it in 4k on a good screen not some shittier one like the switch also nice pc poor fag kek animal crossing what a loser

It's good, not amazing. The main draw is the visual style and it gets old before you finish the game. The plot is also kind of messy since there's no real connection between the eight characters except for small missable scenes at bars.

That said, it's a pretty solid RPG. I'd have said it's one of the Switch's must haves but it's on PC too now so... eh.

>tfw can't get past Zone 1
I have no rhythm

it's garbage

Try the demo and find out

There's a steam version now. Honestly, it's a very boring FF styled game with 8 little stories that don't really make you feel anything.

youtube.com/watch?v=Ra6PD_PQdDk

At least the music is decent-good.

WHY THE FUCK ARE DOCKS SO EXPENSIVE? I want a second one so I can have it on another TV without needing to continuously unplug it to move it around, and those fuckers seem to go for retail price even online or second hand.
