Then she can just try again when she's older. In theory she might have discovered youth treatments, though. So, if she continues this research, people in BotW's setting might not have to die of old age.

No, if you read the diary she says she reversed her aging and it stopped at 6. It never says if she stopped aging itself though.

Ganondorf doesn't care about the Gerudo he'd probably go straight to Hyrule Castle and set up base there. He'd only go for the Gerudo because they seem to have the largest standing military but he can just use the Yiga for that
