I want a grid based dungeon crawler that isn't Grimrock. Turn-based combat preferred. Recommend me some games

What's your poison? Fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk?
The Etrian Odyssey series is excellent for the most part.
I don't really care about the setting as long as it's grid movement and turn based combat, no real time shit please
I've heard good things about EO, what's the best one for a newcomer?
play classic wizardry
Zelda 1
>All that detail on the dragon's wing joints
>Half-dragons always ends up with stapled fake wings on their backs
I have nothing else to say since I know nothing about grid-based games, I just like dragons.
If you want to go off the deep end, start with 1 since EO is one of the series that makes it hard to go back to the older games, if only for QoL improvements with each successive game.
If you just want to dip your feet, I'd say go for 3 or 4. 3 is an excellent game, if a little broken. 4 is a bit more polished, but also the shortest and easiest game in a series that prides itself on length and difficulty.
Do not play this game
for some reason they added their own version of those Wizardry ninjas that auto-kill if they crit
Thanks for the advice, pally
