If they keep new content design philosophy true to vanilla, I am all for it. Getting new content(dragon isles, vanilla hyjal, emerald dream, vanilla karazhan) is way cooler than getting tbc again.

But dealing with balance and power creep caused by even more powerful gear dropped in new raids would be absolute pain in their asses. Mb they can add new skills via skill books drops like AQ to balance classes, but even this method is kinda questionable.

Is anyone actually going to skip classic because they moved to FF14? I've been playing the free trial of FF these past few days and I like it a lot, but it just feels like your typical comfy, casual JRPG that just happens to be an MMO. I know I haven't seen much of the content yet but I can't imagine this game scratching the same PvP itch that vanilla WoW does, nor can I imagine the late-game raids or dungeons being nearly as good. The game is so casual that you can play every class as a single character.
