Good. I like open world games actually but not in my action games. The overworld was also fucking horrible in Automata. Just from what we've seen of the small non-combat areas AC looks much better.

It's nintendo, so hopefully once the game comes out millions of artists flock to it and draw a few thousand images and 80 or so doujins, only a small few of each which would be good.

So it's basically like Mario64 ? That's neat, but i do think patrolling in a open-world town as a cop with minor crimes triggering as random events would be cool too.

Why do you think it shows up at the end of the first mission? The trailer shows the protagonist dodging its attacks with Beast legion, but I'm pretty sure you don't get it that early. The second treehouse stream shows File 04 (chapter 4) and they only have sword + arrow. Also seems there's a bunch of story stuff going on with that particular chimera and the blonde lady (who is the one that strikes your sibling).

Earlier trailers were kinda muddy and gameplay looked bland. The treehouse footage is doing a fair amount to make me reconsider, but I'm still not sold.

The footage of the dev playing did a far bit to sway me, but I'm still not sold on the amount of cinematic stuff that happens during fights. I'm fine with hitstop, but I really don't like the constant zooms, pauses and slow-mo the game seemed to throw out on a regular basis
