Path of Ninja is a DS remake of the GBA rpg that covers the first two arc but removes the side missions and the game is short as fuck.
Path of Ninja 2 is a sequel that is just some pre shippuden filler story that's pretty alright, definitely one of the better naruto games

Path of Ninja 2 is worth play since you have access to basically the entire pre shippuden genin ninjas.
Any of the numbered Storm games are pretty good retellings of the main story.
Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is a pretty good alternative fighting game if Storm isn't your thing and you can get wifi back on it thanks to custom servers.
Everything else is kinda mediocre at best or very lackluster. well there was this psp 4 player co-op one that had you fight giant bosses that seemed pretty decent but I never played it so I can't say for sure if it's good or not

Then Naruto RPG 2 which covered the Tsunade and Sasuke retrieval arcs which was never translated. Naruto RPG 3 and Path of Ninja 2 which cover the filler story are the same game

The big problem with Naruto is that the pervading theme late in the series (ie: after all that 'hard work' shit is shelved) seems to be bad guys bitching about how bad and awful the ninja world is and how it needs to change and they all get swayed by Orange retard's assertation that he'll change everything.

But Kishi is a chickenshit wuss who can't actually follow through on making the world itself feel dystopic. Usually the people messing things up are the people whining about how the world sucks. They're isolated cases for the most part. As soon as a big threat shows up the ninja villages all join up together. All the leaders turn out to be decent folk with maybe some warts here and there. Everything is hunky dory. Everything is fine in funny ninja wahoo "I mow your lawn for my ninja mission' land.

If Kishi really wanted this to be a theme the world should have been a wretched dystopia from the start that Naruto completely overhauls. But he doesn't. He just says he will... and then doesn't.

I loved BOTW but I think most modern WRPGs are garbage. Bethesda is the most notable developer of the modern WRPG scene, and all of their flagship games feel so empty and robotic, with terrible combat (Skyrim, Fallout 3/4). Sure, they have pretty environments (especially with mods on Skyrim), but they all tend to feel more like a half baked engine than a finished game. The Witcher 3 and Fallout New Vegas do a good job with story and world building, but even then still have robotic characters/dialogue at times, mediocre combat, and empty environments. The world of BOTW was infinitely more enjoyable and exciting to explore even accepting its flaws, and the combat of the game, though exploitable and not as depth filled as the best Japanese action games, was a serious improvement on most WRPGs.

That and Dragon's Dogma has infinitely better combat and mechanics than any Bethesda game, despite being made by the Nips. lol

At the same time, I thought it was pretty funny that Madara and Danzo were behind every single bad event in Shinobi history and responsible for every single tragic villain becoming what they were.

Pain is honestly a pretty good end point. It doesn't wrap everything up but it's a very satisfying climax

Basically, Sasuke finds Orochimaru on his monthly period, and Orochimaru decides it's time to eat Sasuke, Sasuke uses the Sharingan and turns it on Orochimaru and swallows him. Sasuke then gathers a fish man, a giant violent giant that the curse mark is derived from, and a medical whore. They go out and Sasuke fights the exploding Akatsuki and gets him to use his mega explosion, killing him, and then Sasuke fights Itachi, Itachi is doing pretty well and basically kills Sasuke, but Sasuke uses his Orochimaru power to shed his skin and survive, and calls down a lightning dragon, but Itachi denies that shit by using a Sharingan power called Susanoo, which is a giant set of armor, like a spirit warrior, and Itachi rips Orochimaru out of Sasuke and seals it. He then Amaterasu's the remnants to make sure Orochimaru doesn't slither out. Tobi is alerted to Itachi's death by Zetsu, and Tobi then goes "IT'S JUST AS I EXPECTED" and declares himself Madara Uchiha. Tobi then saves Sasuke and convinces him to get the other jinchuriki, and Sasuke gets his shitter shattered by the Eight Tails. They capture a tentacle that looks like the Jinchuriki.
Hanzo takes the role of Hokage and is a total faggot.

Fast forward, and Tobi,with 7/9 of the tailed beasts declares war on the Shinobi world, and has an entire army of Zetsu. The five great nations make an army, and Tobi works with Kabuto, Kabuto uses Impure World Resurrection to bring back a ton of dead ninja.

Sasuke confronts Danzo and Danzo has like 12 Sharingan in his arm and one in his head, and Sasuke manages to kill Danzo after Danzo reveals a jutsu called Izanagi which turn genjutsus real to undo undesirable outcomes.

Naruto and the Eight Tails (Killer B) go to an island, meet, become friends, and train, Naruto befriends the Nine Tails, and the war happens
