What are some good mice for MMO's
Gaming Mice
>inb4 the logitech wireless shill
>2019
>still using wired mice
news flash based technological retard
even razer has gotten on the wireless game and their shit is also fucking good
it's one thing to be too poor to use objectively superior wireless mice - that I understand
but to hate wireless mice just because they're wireless? yikes from me
you guys are like the retards in japan who refuse to move on from fax machines and refuse to use credit cards because technology scares them
I bought that thing back in 2013
I was always under the impression wireless mice were for office workers and stay at home moms
why the fuck is that thing almost $300
the one i have that looks almost like it was like $20
The braindead mouthbreather shows up. Like clockwork.
>wireless haters have zero actual valid arguments and just scream obscenities
Yep nothing unusual here.
Why do people need a GAMING mouse anyway? I always just get 10 dollar mice and I do about as well as anyone else
Both are good but wired have quicker response times.
I want one personally because having 8 buttons available on my mouse lets me focus less on my keyboard in games where I have a bunch of hotkeys.
Don't buy old mice like that off Amazon. I'm guessing it's a discontinued model and the sellers on there jack the prices up to try to trick retards into buying some "elite gaming mouse" when in reality it's just outdated trash.
Razer Naga fuck you I like it.
How honestly dumb can you be lol. Wireless has latency. Dropped inputs. All the shit associated with floating information across fucking air. On the other hand you have a wire. Long. Never fucks up. Fastest possible communication with the PC. The cables are like 6 feet long what the fuck do you even need wireless for? Are you dancing around your fucking room with your mouse? Wirelets btfo
Yeah I wouldn't buy it at that price, I bought mine originally for like $30 or $40
>wireless good
>wired bad
Amazing argument, fuckboy. Let me guess, you are going to link the tests that logitech did on their own mice that "proves" they are good. What an absolute retard, bet you have a gaming chair too.
stop using amazon you stupid fuck I can find one for a third of that price
Actually wrong in quite a few cases as the technology in modern wireless mice are just better in traditional wired ones. A modern wired mice might be extremely, extremely, EXTREMELY marginally better than a modern wireless one, but the difference is so negligible that even pro FPS gamers prefer wireless instead, as the benefits outweight the cons almost completely.
Just replace the microswitch.
Too bad all wireless mice currently available have shit shapes. G pro wireless is the closest to okay but still is singifcantly inferior to something like a Divina S1 or Odin O, or the upcoming Ninox Astrum. G305 would probably be a great choice for excessive handlets at least.
>Slower response time
>Dongle tiny, easy to lose
>Doesn't last as long
And what's the con to having no wire? So you don't trip being a sperg sitting at your desk? STFU clown lol
>benefits
What fucking benefits? The mouse stays on the mousepad where else does it need to fucking go
>my fav twitch buddy uses one bros
You underage faggots are so easy to impress.
>hurr durr these completely valid tests and studies are wrong because I say so!!!!
>Wireless has latency
Almost identical latency to a wired mice as the technology in wireless mice has improved so much.
Again, nice try wired boy.
Up OP's asshole probably
SOMEONE JUST POST A NON FAGGOT OBJECTIVELY GOOD WIRELESS MOUSE. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
A company proving that their shit is good is laughable. Show independent tests you absolute retard shill.
the trick is to hit up logitech and complain about an imaginary issue before your warranty runs out. they will send you a replacement gratis. and 4 times out of 5 won't even ask for the old one back.
>OBJECTIVELY GOOD
>WIRELESS
choose one.
>there's no benefits to be had in not having to drag a wire that can get in the way with every mouse movement, plus the increased desk real estate available
Mmhm okay.
>Almost identical latency to a wired mice
hahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>be playing csgo
>new epic wireless mouse
>about to get the epic leet kill
>mouse freezes for .2 seconds and i'm killed
I dont care if there's only a .0005% chance this happens with your best million dollar mouse. It NEVER happens to wired mice. Back to r*ddit
He doesn't have to because it's not 2010 anymore.
It's so sad that you guys don't realise you're pretty much the boomers of technology, refusing to get with the times.
Do you have a flip phone too?
There isn't a good wireless gaming mouse kiddo, stop coming to Yea Forums for advice and use google.com like a functioning human being.
Don't lump me in with faggots who use wireless mice
>desk real estate
>a fucking wire
>getting in the way
what a cope
Flip phones are fucking cool, who razr here?
Either a great shit post or a giant faggot
Probably both
Been using my MX518 for 11 years now, I have 0 reason to upgrade still.
Dunno about you but these things perform very well. Very responsive, no autistic "gaymer" design and no RGB bullshit
It's one fag. A singular, lonely anime posting faggot who doesn't post any links of "good" wireless mice, or any proof that the horseshit he types has any merit
I bet you like over-engineered computer laden cars as well
>The virgin flip phone
>Not the Chad blackberry
Is there a good wireless mouse that doesnt cost over $100? Because if not I'm a wired nigger till death
Wireless has been fine since ~2016
t. wired 403 user
Anyone have any experience with this? I also need a mouse for MMOs but I'm not fucking with the Naga.
Based
Mouselets btfo
Real gamers adapt their skills to their tools. Not let their tools dictate their skills.
What did he mean by this
>me playing osu! at home
>getting pretty good
>go to school
>in computer class with friends
>we get osu! on the computers and play
>school mice are garbage one-button apple mice
>no mouse pad either
>I adapt and can manage to be slightly below my usual quality
please recommend me a mosue that has an ever lasting scroll wheel and side buttons, every mice ive owned every single one had a shitty scrollwheel that would eventually scroll reverse abit
>you guys are like the retards in japan who refuse to use credit cards because technology scares them
I'm pretty sure they don't like using credit cards because there are shitty laws that don't protect them when someone steals their card info and charges a bunch of shit on them.
This is 10x better than the retards complaining about wireless/wired mouses and bragging about response time.
just made me remember high school lad. Trying to play games in class with this piece of shit mouse lol
>Real gamers go for inferior products bc they need to flex ePeen.
This is how retarded you sound, yes we can use track ball mice and do ok but it's about getting as much of an edge as possible. Don't be willfully retarded your whole life, please. At least consider your parents
Post one gaming wireless mouse that is worth over $50 LMAO. Wireless fags are insufferable
This faggot literally went back and tagged every post that disagreed with him to say this but STILL hasn't posted proof to what he says. Fucking lol
>b-but my favorite streamers use wireless mouses
So these are the people I kill in games instantly
>struck a nerve
Are you one of those guys that have to crutch themselves with $500 mice and macro ridden keypads?
the 310 is my favorite mouse ever. Get that one.
>that pattern
I would unironically be interested in that mouse if it didn't look so fucking ridiculous.
WHERE ARE MY MX518 BROS AT
ALSO ACCEPTABLE: G400, G400S
I bet you still believe VR is fun
No projectionman, this is my mouse: Razer Lancehead TE Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse - [Matte Black]: 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor - Chroma RGB Lighting - 8 Programmable Buttons - Mechanical Switches amazon.com
Which is better than any POS wireless mouse on the market.
My keyboard is some $15 Logitech from Walmart bc keyboards don't really matter
What's the verdict?
>keyboards don't really matter
What did he mean by this?
>$15 Logitech from Walmart bc keyboards don't really matter
Ok i see you're a man of reason.
But i still think people should stop bitching about what branded wireless/wired mice like their whole entire gaming lifestyle depends on it.
Meaning I regularly shit on kiddos with their mechanical keyboards lol
>used logitech g500 mouse for years
>when it died I got another g500 lasted years
>same thing a third time, again after years
>they only seem to make edgy gamur shit now
>switched over to corsair
I've been quite happy with this mouse, though I wouldn't recommend it for MMOs.
>mechanical keyboards
>Muh 1ms response time.
>loud obnoxious clacking 24/7
seriously fuck mechanical keyboards, they're just normie hypes.
Needs another thumb button too much real estate going unused there.
My G400S died and just got a G305/G304
Or you can open it and blend again the metal on the switch. MIND BLOW FIX, RETARD!!
I had this mouse for years. the problem I had it wouldn't warn me that the battery would go flat. so when it did, usually in the middle of a game.. I would have to swap the battery pack over. I got insanely fast at it.
$10 mice don't have good DPI options if any. Though you're correct in saying gaming mice are stupid. $20-$40 for a mouse is plenty.
>$10 mice don't have good DPI options if any
Chad gamers overcome this with pure skill.
They don't need to clutch to products that give normie casuals the advantage they need.
Yeah my friend sold me one, I didn't care for the noise, the obnoxious lights or the texture of the keys. Ended up selling it after a week for more than I bought it from him for. Just hyped up tech junk
Skill can't make it so I don't have to move my arm thirty feet across the room to move the cursor from one side of my monitor to the other. A high DPI can.
Mouses with 15 buttons are retarded. You don't need a special mouse for an MMO, just get something that's comfortable for your hand and has a nice sensor for any game with aiming or precise mouse control.
MX518 was shit tier as soon as angle snapping was solved
I got a G400S and am currently on a G502 or something. I miss the shape of the mx518 though but I really like the idiotic infinite scroll wheel
Ssh don't reply to him or he'll shit up the thread some more
>Skill can't make it so I don't have to move my arm thirty feet across the room
Psssh do you even work out bro?
there's a new MX518 using the hero sensor from the other G series mice
>buying Razer anything
lel
>like the retards in japan who refuse to move on from fax machines
fax machines are still literally the most secure way to send data
Yeah I didn't all of the buttons constantly, but my main desire is having something with at least four buttons on the side and one that has a tilting middle mouse button for two more inputs. I wouldn't even know what to search for the latter, but nudging the scroll wheel left or right for hotkeys is something that's gonna be hard to quit
>Mouses with 15 buttons are retarded
It is, for gaming.
But for work and 3d modeling it's a feckin' bliss.
I really like that I only charge it once every week or two
I know but I already have a £50 mouse so I don't fancy spending another £50 one
Would have been nice if they didn't make it super expensive the great thing about the MX518 wasn't just that is was a great mouse but it was also a good price at £20-25
What an armlet
Close to $100 is still to fucking much.
This is so pathetic.
Too late! Chad gamers have taken over the thread now. Go bitch about wired/wireless problems to your mom.
>not seeing the benefits of a mouse with multiple bindable buttons for mmos
you dont play MMOs. and if you do, you're shit at them
OG MX Revolution is bae
A pair of brand new switches and a soldering iron cost like $20 total.
>Get a gaming mice for the first time
>G402
>Literally feels like I'm doing way better at games
Is it placebo or does it make an actual difference?
What mouse is that?
There are no good MMOs that require that many buttons. There's more than enough keys on your keyboard to bind to everything.
Placebo, unless your old one had really bad angle snapping
I'm not sure, but it was a $10 one from Woolies
>use a Logitech K270 (wireless K120) with a cheap $10 mouse ($25 total for the combo)
>no fucks given
>mouselets think they can compete with ball chads
Thinking about picking up another g502 bros
Im not even kidding, i've seen people playing halo with this shit. It's fucking amazing.
G Pro wireless, sorry friend
mine isn't that one but trackballs are fantastic
What a poorfag
atrocious
That's not news anymore, the only people that would even dare to recommend such shit mice are retarded troglodyte subhuman MMO niggers. Though we all know MMOs aren't games and the opinion of niggers does not matter.
So why have companies specifically never tried to develop a trackball controller? I think I've seen some DIY ones but I can't think of an official product that's ever been released.
How about you get a good mouse for once?
fuck your opinion poorfag
People have done that before. The answer is that using a trackball with a single digit like your thumb or even index finger is shit. The big trackball mice like Kensington's or CST's have the benefit of being designed to be used by multiple digits. You have way more control over the ball that way. Keep your index, middle, and ringer finger on it and you have way, way more fine motor control for very precise movements. You can also make sudden large sweeping movements faster than any other input method.
The trackball's ultimate form is basically what you see there. Any other implementation won't have all the benefits.
>tfw no wireless g600
why can't logitech do anything good anymore
>90% of modern mouses only have 2 side buttons instead of 4
Why the fuck is that still a thing?
Because you're a retard that plays shit games if you actually need more than 2 side buttons.
Analog sticks are cheaper, and have become an expected standard over the last ~20 years. It's also harder to precisely move a trackball with just your thumb. But there are bunches of DIY examples and a handful of small third party devices out there.
i like this one
they released a few way back in the ps1/2 era. The smoothbrains of that era couldn't appreciate the genius of the idea so it died. There's even scientific data to back up the fact that it is better:
yorku.ca
video of the prototype:
youtube.com
Maybe I just like wired mice because they're inexpensive compared to what's required of wireless shit.
Like, don't get me wrong, user, wireless is gonna be top-tier, and I'm not going to argue that. But When the price starts getting over $100 for a goddamn mouse, I'm going to move my collective arse down the line and get something with a wire.
What a stupid statement.
Has anyone tried vertical mice?
Ah yes I can indeed use a shitty laptop trackpad to play an FPS.
Nothing better than it dude
>Not mentally projecting your thoughts to the computer
>Needing peripherals
Yeah, I actually don't think there's anything worse than the 502.
Yeah I don't think there's anything better than it. Perfect amount of buttons. Great sensor. I'll admit it's looks aren't all that great
Buttons don't matter, you have a keyboard.
It has the same sensor as any other mouse on the market so that doesn't mean much.
Horrible braided cable.
Mediocre shape when it comes to aiming and is only good for casual use.
One of the heaviest mice on the market even without weights.
Is the 502 your first mouse?
Only weaklings complain about the weight of a mouse.
>$300
>just to click on things
It's pretty good. I use it as my main mouse.
The software is meh but usable. It can sometimes fail to switch profiles when switching programs. Vibration is a nice gimmick but the software does not seem to use it to its full potential.
The extra buttons all give nice click feedback when pressed. The side buttons feel stiff at first, but they should wear down a little with light use. The top side buttons are really stiff as to prevent accidental presses.
The bottom side switches are easy to trigger accidentally, but there is a hardware switch to lock them if they get in the way. The forward switch can be rather hard to reach with your thumb.
The mouse is relatively heavy for weightfags, but if you're using it for MMOs it shouldn't be an issue.
A major issue with this mouse is that it would randomly "disconnect" and stop receiving inputs.
This is solved by directly plugging it into your machine instead of a usb hub and disabling device sleep for the mouse from the device manager.
Also it might just be me but I've had some issues with the mouse wheel.
I've had two of these and both would randomly scroll down in 2 increments instead of 1.
>Buttons don't matter, you have a keyboard.
I assume you've never played a game that requires quickness of execution and a multitude of keybinds at the same time
>heavy mice are bad
What's it like being limp wristed?
M95. Discontinued though.
I fucking hate how this mouse is perfect for me and there's nothing in the market like it.
Is that why the market is heading towards heavier mice? Oh wait, it's almost like people realized heavier mice are objectively worse. If you want to defend a bad mouse just because you feel pride in benching 130g then go ahead, don't feel bad when everyone else laughs at you for being so blatantly uninformed though.
aaa...
aaaa...
aaa..
aaAAAAAAAATCHOOOOOO.
Oh excuse me will you, i'm allergic to plebeians.
I have one, it's overpriced for what it offers and I feel like a retard trying to play games with it, ended up buying another mouse.
Don't you have a onions latte to drink or something
...
I don't know whether I dislike or like this thing.
>The infinite scroll thing is cool for like a few seconds then I realize it's a pointless gimmick and it's probably going to make the scroll wheel go bad faster if I use it often
>The side scroller scrolled pages left and right by default (really nigger?) changed it to use the volume which is pretty cool and I use it often
>The two side buttons are too far back and I'm still not used to how they feel and often press them both at the same time
>Didn't even realize the hidden button on the thumb rest existed until a week of owning it, still forget it exists sometimes
The infinite scroll thing is a big issue. Its been a persistent issue since the OG MX Revolution. The mouse switches between click scrolling or free/infinite scrolling with a tiny plastic tab linked to a little actuator. In each iteration of this design Logitech has made the little plastic tab can and will come out of place, and get stuck in infinite scroll mode. Its easy enough to fix, but you have to take apart the mouse to do it. I've had to replace the teflon feet on my mouse a couple times because they lost all their adhesive from being pried off so frequently.
The OG Rebolusion had a standard scroll wheel at your thumb which was far easier to use than what the MX Master has now. The back and forward buttons are much easier to use on the old Revolution too.
Overall its a very nice design with some flaws that really detract from it.
>A major issue with this mouse is that it would randomly "disconnect" and stop receiving inputs.
Anything metallic can interrupt a signal, happens on all wireless mice. I hate a cable management thing underneath my desk that was directly between the mouse and my pc that would random disconnections. Get an extended usb port and put it on your table, it should fix that.
>yikes from me
yikes from the bottom of the food chain are irrelevant. stay mad wirelessfag.
cos the mouse sees most intense use in games and thus non-gaming mice don't need to try too hard.
YES!
I fucking hate moving mouse around.
I use the cheap logitech track ball with thumb and it works really well on mount and blade. I wanna try a better one now though.
