>Make several mistakes throughout the course of the game >Get to the point where winning is an actual impossibility >Opponent makes a single """mistake""" by getting you to a point where your king is surrounded and not technically in checkmate, but can't make any valid moves >"Y-yeah it's a draw we are clearly evenly matched players"
Do you think this stupid update was patched in by some butthurt nobility a few centuries ago? What sane person thinks this particular situation is worthy of a draw? >hurrr you outplayed him the entire game but because you made one mistake against his several YOU don't deserve to win Absolute mongoloid logic.
Yes. If they have a king and you have two queens it is so easy to win that if you accidentally put your opponent in stale mate you don't deserve the win. It also gives the opponent incentive to keep playing, since if they maneuver themselves right they can get at least a half point in a tourney instead of a zero.
Git gud.

>>>>>>>>>comeback mechanics of any kind
Humans cannot fucking balance their games, holy shit. Come to Gamma V for some proper game design you dumb apes.

>not playing Battle Chess
Oliver Rogers
What the hell even happens?
Carter Diaz
I mean. What do you think happens in real life? Even if you make ALL the correct moves and then make ONE mistake at the end, your opponent could see that, and take advantage of it. It doesn’t matter how correct you were in the entirety of the game. One mistake can destroy everything, in this and in life.
Isaiah Cox
It's not a comeback mechanic, you just threw away your advantage by being a fucking retard. He didn't combo breaker your pieces off the board
Michael King
>bro the game is just like real life... just like how queen elizabeth fought in the crusades and could duel knights!
automatic setplays Mobile version with lootboxes Premium pieces and boards Double move weekend.

add fortnite characters as pieces taking any piece that isn't a pawn with a pawn makes the pawn character floss if you take 3 pieces in a row, you can use a perk attack
Aaron Hill
In olden times you would replay the game but they eliminated that rule to save time.
Xavier Howard
Why do people even play chess when it's a solved game?
The best human player cannot beat the best computer for a long time now.
Ethan Taylor
White deserves to lose. How the fuck do you not checkmate with 2 queens and a knight?
chaos mode, all pieces can be moved at once at the same time, they still have to follow the same move model but you don't have to wait for your opponent to make a move.
Benjamin King
Yeah that's retarded.
>white deserve to lose lol no it's a bullshit rule even if he should've ended it earlier.
Noah Parker
Okay retard >live life perfectly >fuck up and kill guy >go to prison Wow wtf
Ethan Barnes
I don't know much about chess, but doesn't it usually play with a timer to prevent shit like this? I mean, there's no possible move black can make, so just sitting there forever and never taking a turn is an option? I don't get it
>literally lost a position 5 year olds are taught to win
Juan King
The rule has changed with the history of chess but its always a lack of legal moves. At some points it was a win for the stalemating side, at one point a half win, rarely even a loss for the one administering it.
