If you like multiplayer games it's a good deal
no
If you enjoy building a pillow fort for 5 minutes and akwardly cuddling with your friends while nobody of you moves, just for it to be all over in 1 minute - sure. Otherwise no.
No
i dont have words for the amount of grind that would be ahead of you
unless they made changes. haven't played it for a couple years
it was definitely best when it was just the starting roster. it got very gimmicky very quickly
Its a good game, specially with a couple of friends. Get the 2nd bundle tho, not the most basic edition which comes with 0 operators.
i like the game, so sure OP i think you should buy it
Launch operators cost now 500/100/1500/2000 depending on how many from that group you have (first one 500 and so on).
They lowered it a lot.
I’m wondering about this too. How’s the campaign?
It’s one of the best MP shooters out there if you have buddies to play with, but it’s HORRIBLE with randoms. It’s one of my most played multiplayer games in this decade, but I can’t stomach a hour of it if I can’t get a full team of reliable teammates for it.
Advance at your own caution, unless you have friends for it.
If you do, get the deluxe edition since it has the year 1 operators and they're the best of the rest years, it's always hit or a miss now
What campaign?
It´s a multiplayer game. That´s it.
Yeah the deluxe edition is $12, based on the replies here I might get it.
This shit pisses me off because it’s now impossible to get everyone for a decent price it’s the same reason I don’t want to get into street fight v, I want the whole roster not 5 dudes and everyone else is 20 bucks or more
How's the online community? Are people still playing this game?
Yea but now it’s csgo quality memelords and Russians
Still very popular.
You'll be getting into the game late though so be prepared to get ass fucked after leaving the newcomer playlist.
Its a game of incredible highs and lows and not for those who are unwilling to improve. Having friends to play with makes the being shit moments easier to swallow.
by some stroke of ubisoft madness siege ended up being the only solid shooter on the market for the last 4 years, but its still a ubisoft game
>How's the online community?
erratic, you'll encounter chill people who will help you learn but you'll also encounter teenagers who teamkill you and exit the game because you committed a faux-pas like reinforcing certain rooms but they won't bother to tell you it was a bad strat
Get the version with the year one operators at least. Getting the game now puts you really behind the grind. You dont need all the operators to have fun or be viable many overlap but you are better off spending a few dollars more to not suffer.
Once you master peaking and your op abilities your fine on that aspect
its a bit messy with bugs, glitches, seasons passes, loot boxes, and over-zealous chat filter and etc, but its still great and you will have 100x more fun than some shitty CSGO. its much better with cosmetics too, even the common tier skins blow the fuck out of GO's ugly shit.
the fandom is hit and miss as with most things. there's tons of great arts and cosplay. but there's also a bunch of underage "toxic" whiners that ubisoft pander to. just play the game and don't type stupid shit and you'll have fun.
i believe it's still somewhat growing, even.
>hard anchoring in 2019
>fuze
>IQ
What a joke
All he does is go above the area and press his gadget button for 3 ez kills
The last game I played was a week ago when I took out 4 enemies and started securing the area only for the fuze to blow his load into the secure area to kill me, my Monty, and himself through the wall to get us a choked defeat
Special ed teammates are the reason I stopped playing give me one reason to go back
Huge learning curve. If you have the patient. Sure.
I have almost 400 hours in the game and I'm still missing ~10 operators. Obviously it's a fun game with the time I've put into it but Ubi's greed shouldn't be underestimated. You will need a lot of hours to catch up and earn enough currency to keep up with new releases too.
>3 ez kills
You mean 6
Get watchdogs 2 instead, fuckin fun game
7 if you count him being kicked
no
It will take you 9 gorillion years to learn the maps vs players who have been playing since day 1.
Elo reset?
Making a thunk sound usually just ends up with Fuze getting wallbanged in gold these days.
Yea I don’t grind I will literally toss money at the game till I have them all than play whoever I can masturbate to, this was the same for lol and all the fighting games that had buy chars
all launch operators are free now if you buy the standard edition, they also lowered the price of the older DLC operators
As a person who has been playing since day one, I wouldn't get recommend getting it. It's been slowly going downhill ever since season three. It's not completely awful but its past its prime at this point if you ask me.
no and unlocking non-starter operators is too grindy worse than a lot of f2p
Tried playing it again a bit ago, heres the one comp placement game I played
>R1
>ash afk
>one guy picking recruit and trying to get everyone to do the meme with him
>lion uses his drone twice before anyone even enters the building
>kill 2 people before lion strafing headshots me trying to up his KD
>recruit dies and leaves immediately after
>the rest of the round is the ying hiding in corners while the timer ticks down then she rushes in and gets fucked when the music tells her she fucked the entire round up by playing the quiet game
Vote to surrender asap
it's a long fucking grind to git gud, incredibly difficult game to pickup for new players and it gets more complex each season
but if you can manage to find 4 other competent teammates and you're willing to put in the grind it's easily the best shooter on the market
>Special ed teammates are the reason I stopped playing give me one reason to go back
if you ban mont and blitz you can literally carry any team at any rank, and if you don't that's your fault and you're literally just bad
also stop anchoring on objectives holy shit even jackal isn't good enough of an excuse
depends on your rank. gold and up is generally decent
if you don't want shit teammates don't get placed in silver hell
console is much worse, avoid that shit like the plague
Every game I've played in casual/placement I've been top and half the time my tms are waiting for something to happen or rushing in and getting DDayed, nothing in between
