Oh wow, all that in a standard edition for $60? based CDPR!!

>oh wow, all that in a standard edition for $60? based CDPR!!
Are people really this brainwashed? On PC it used to be $50 max for an actual physical copy that was better than today's collector's editions, and it was an actual physical copy so you didn't have to go through some platform and DLC didn't exist, if there was post release content then it was an expansion which got the same type of physical release which still sucks but isn't nearly as bad.
They take away things that used to be standard like physical copies, manuals, and extras and when some puppet master like CDPR add its back in for a game people think they are such good guys and getting such a good deal, yet they are getting less than they would have 20 years ago and it costs more, on top of the fact the game is intentionally being released unfinished so they can release """""free updates""""", aka cut content, to make themselves look better, so they have an excuse not to lower the base price, and so they can release it without having to finish it, all only possible thanks to digital distribution.
>extra "digital """"""goods"""""""
People are dumb enough to think this is added value

I paid £21 to pre-order The Witcher 2 and it came with a box of shit like papercrafts, guidebook etc it was really neat. The CDPR physical editions went in the shitter when they started doing console releases

posts like this remind me i should stop browsing this shithole

Cynerpunk 2077 will be the next anthem.

He's right though, all the "free" dlc for TW3 was just haircuts and random shit that didn't matter. Where as TW2 got extra quests then the Enhanced Edition in addition to the physical version coming with loads of cool stuff

The only thing I care about in a standard physical release is a having a full-color thick instruction manual with descriptions for lore, characters, weapons, locations, etc.

witcher 3 got added quests as well as physical version with loads of cool stuff, you have no clue what youre talking about

>have beautiful backgrounds at your disposal
>make the blandest cover you possibly could

Attached: 1560811303109.gif (500x343, 475K)

What if it's reversible?

>physical version with loads of cool stuff
Yeah that Wolf Amulet sticker is "loads of cool stuff" I was no where NEAR on par with the standard physical edition of 2
This image isn't even everything as its missing the papercrafts

Attached: 1791394-witcher_2_premium_edition[1].jpg (570x446, 149K)

TW3 was many times bigger than TW2 out of the box

>back in 'nam

ok don't buy it

If they're not showing that part then it must be be even worse.

>yet they are getting less than they would have 20 years ago and it costs more
What is inflation

I just never understand why people are so autistic about game covers. Sure I love good game covers and would prefer them to be good but you have to consider marketing. A game with an artsy and colorful cover will sell less than just a dude with a gun. People like us are going to play and buy it despite what cover they put on it. Look how shit the Bioshock Infinite cover is and look at its sale numbers. You gotta try to sell it to the dudebro because you already got the turbo gamers and Witcher crowd.

>things cost more today than they did two decades ago
Whoa...

Attached: 1541691230894.jpg (240x196, 9K)

exact same shit was included with witcher 3, wtf are you talking about?

tl;dr

It is based as fuck and they are my favorite developers.
Alright pre-ordered

imaging writing all that and still gonna buy the game when it comes out.
Will you still post this after?

Launch day Witcher 2 physical release had Securom
The Enhanced edition was a proper physical copy for PC unlike the launch day version so I bought it, the Enhanced/Complete editions of the Witcher games are some of the very few games I have paid for in years because they are actual physical copies for PC. CDPR shouldn't get a pass for their disgusting brainwashing tactics just because they did one thing the right way three times (the physical Complete/Enhanced editions of the Witcher games for PC.)
Launch day Witcher 3 had DRM
>loads of cool stuff
For more money than what used to be standard on PC and less extras.
ok but i'm going to try to get other people to not buy it too, if enough people start boycotting and demand things done the right way then better games will be made and all the shitty practices that have been normalized could go away. It isn't going to happen because there are way too many casuals such as yourself but any little bit help. If PC gamers said "no" to Steam and fake physical releases then it would have never come to this point.
Xseed said they would start giving PC physical releases if enough people asked.
More people to sell to
Less in return for your money, especially for digital
DLC exists
Games are intentionally released unfinished etc. So yes, when you take everything into consideration they are more expensive.

>why are people upset that advertising and marketing cancer ruins anything good for profit

gee wilikers, I dunno Timmy

>For more money than what used to be standard on PC and less extras.
What are you on about?

holy fuck kill yourself

>still gonna buy the game when it comes out.
No I'm not, I'm going to pirate it. I will buy it in the future if it gets a physical Complete/Enhanced edition like the Witcher games got but until then I'll pirate.

>I-I'll just pirate it, that shows how much I don't like it!
Kek

>Launch day Witcher 2 physical release had Securom
I got it day one on pc and im fairly sure it had a day one patch to remove that. correct me if im wrong though

you must be over 18 to post on this site

It is. Female V is on the other side.

>please don’t buy games from the best devs around
What the hell is your problem

>When you try to shitpost but can't find anything to shit on

See you niggas in April

>2000 is now two decades ago

Having the cityscape in the background wouldn't hurt sales at all, if anything it would boost sales. Who the fuck though that ugly neon background was a good idea? It's fucking obnoxious.

>2000 was 2000 years ago

Attached: 1559280338805.jpg (400x580, 74K)

You're what people call entitled.
Prices go up over time. You need to compare it to the standard now, not 10 years ago.
Also, GOG is hardly DRM and DLC existed for a very long time, it was just called different. Expansions are called DLC these days. You're looking for the word 'microtransactions'.

Is he literally the coolest nibba in the world? I think so.

i'm tempted to get the collector's edition but i really don't give a fuck about the fucking statue

old men in suits

Yes

Back in my day you were guaranteed a manual on how to play the game and in the case of some cases a map. Now you pay a premium for the map.

Attached: 1560193989309.jpg (1003x900, 84K)

hell you sometimes don't even get the disc now

Based as fuck, I will never use the N word again I swear Mr. Pondsmith!

Physical Items:

Case with game discs
World Compendium detailing the game's setting and lore
Postcards from Night City
Map of Night City
Stickers

Digital Items:

Game soundtrack
Art booklet featuring a selection of art from the game
Cyberpunk 2020 sourcebook
Wallpapers for desktop and mobile

cyberpunk is based, $60 is not bad because it is a high amount, it is bad because it is undeserved
in this case, its very much deserved. i'd pay those street squatters $100 for the game if they deliver on their promise

>going full autismo over 10 dollars
Get a job

Remember when RPG's came with cloth maps and 200-page manuals? That was my shit.

Did none of you retarded NEETs ever hear of the term INFLATION? Back to school you drooling shitstains

>bitching this much over 10 dollars
I earn 10 dollars on my 15 minute shit break at work. Choke on my cock and swallow my cum and I'll pay your 10 dollar difference faggot

Attached: 1556521843679.jpg (750x718, 73K)

Getting a nice paper map was standard fare for any RPG in the past.

>CDPR getting those virtual points for putting trans and homo shit in it.
The game is about a dystopian future, so it make sense that they would be included. i feel alot of Yea Forums and trans don't understand that this is a insult to the lgbt peeps. And i find that hilarious.

>This game won't let me fly cars/be a medic/customize my room/more bitch goes here.
SO, that means they'll focus on the other stuff more making the story more engaging (i hope), better combat and i hope they do hacking well.

>IT COST 60$ GANNA PIRATE IT!!
I agree that this should be at max 50$, but I'm still going to pay for it.

Attached: 98562.jpg (569x428, 25K)

That's kinda gay my dude

I'm excited for this game, but I can't help but worry the combat will be complete dogshit considering it's being made by Witcher niggers

Japan showing how it's done yet again.
I cannot wait for both these GOTYs.

What? The cover is literally just the logo and a black background

referring to the steel case in this regard

Ah alright, Cyberpunk gets a few different steelbooks too depending on where you buy it I think or at random
