It's too late for me, I am doomed already, I have it in both hands.
I'm handling it pretty well because I'm adaptable as fuck and stretch wrists once in a while.
Just use a mousepad with wrist support. Never had vidya related wrist problems in my life.
I've been using memory foam for my mouse and keyboard wrists and haven't had any issues for 15 years
>Never had vidya related wrist problems in my life.
How old are you?
For me, it started around 25 years
i just exercise every day and my arms feel better
I hate these pictures because it reminds me how fragile the human body and it makes me self conscious about the ways i use my body
make me
hand stretches, eye movements, squats and pushups
pushups will wake you up quickly
Not him. I'm 29 and PC game at least 5 hours a day for the last decade. My wrists never hurt. And I do physical labor. Your body just sounds shitty.
my left wrist starting hurting today
only hurts when i push up on it though like I was trying to bench press today but whenever I lifted off it would be like incredibly painful
shit sucks.
i'm 34 and been playing with fightsticks, gamepads and keyboard and mouse all my life and have never developed this. know a young guy i work with who's 22 and has to wear a fucking bracelet because of severe carpal tunnel and he uses keyboard and mouse.
How the fuck does this happen to people? Am I just lucky? I used to lift in high school and was healthy (still am) did this contribute? I have no clue.
Individual parts may be fragile, but the human body as a whole is an extremely durable machine. Crazy what people can survive and do to their body like 600 pound fatasses and still survive
It's a mix of genetics and luck.
sometimes I wonder if i have this since my wrist locks up every so often while i'm playing vidya or guitar
>Your body just sounds shitty.
Nah, you're a retard who doesn't know how this shit works.
It's about keeping the wrist under constant light load. Menial laborers rarely have carpal tunnel syndrome because the wrists change position and thus get stretched.
It's mostly a problem for high IQ professionals who spend a lot of time in front of computer and then keep wrists mostly static for the rest of the day.
I switched to a trackball and my hand stopped hurting. There are other devices that can help with RSI. As for gaming, I am not completely sure although there was a guy who won a Guilty Gear tournament using a steering wheel so who knows anymore.
Or don't be a pc cuck
Do stretching exercises.
>Yea Forums
>playing video games.
Theres a reason breaks, stretches, toys, and ergonomic mice and keyboards are recommended
Or are you gonna keep feigning ignorance to push your narrative
Recovering from tendinitis in my right hand, shit is fucking awful
>didn't get the carpal tunnel
>but got ulnar nerve entrapment in my left arm
>the shit is happening in the fucking elbow so wrist stretching doesn't even help
Fuck
What trackball are you using?
>no typical carpal tunnel symptoms
>if I bend my mouse hand back 90 degrees it hurts like a bitch
>isn't getting worse or better
>been like this for a year
>playing videogames
lol
ITT: casuals
my wrists are totally fucked but its fine
doing anything is overate right
Start stretching
It really helps and only costs you 5 minutes per day
I thought I'd literally have to get surgery to be able to actually shitpost like a self-respecting human being, but I googled carpal tunnel exercises, started doing them and now I'm barely affected by this shit
Atleast you guys don't have cold penis
You don't know true pain
