They let you use any bloody tool you want as long as you can export the end result to FBX for Unity's sake. That's far better than Dreams' limited tools.

I spent about 3 minutes in VRChat before realizing that anyone I'd really want to hang out with already deleted the app after 3 minutes and returned to being hermits.

The ERP scene sucks compared to SL and it will probably never be as good, partially because VR Chat is so voice-heavy compared to SL but also because SL is infinitely moddable.
