please

I think so. Considered as one of the best VNs in Japan.

Can you get enough hours out of it?

Yeah, it's really good, but also really niche in the west so not a lot of people know about it (just like Utawarerumono). One of the best VNs I've read desu. Took me around 30h.

Hell yeah it's worth it. Bought it day one full price and don't regret it. Wish I could experience it all over again for the first time.

Yes and yes, it's fantastic. Can't say exactly how many hours it was since there's no in-game counter but if you're a $1/hr fag like me it definitely clears that mark. My only gripe with it is a single character but even then there's something cool about them that sort of justifies their presence.

Please play it and save Shibuya Scramble threads from their sad sub-100 post death fate.

More like sub-10 most of the time lmao ;_;

It's on vita?

Absofuckinglutely.
Just be warned, Type-Moon conceptualized the main antagonist and they are absolute dogshit. The game peaks about 2/3 in and just barely saves itself after nosediving hard in the penultimate chapter.

PS4 and PC only in the west. There is no Vita version, not even in Japan.

>tfw literally everyone hates Alphard.
>tfw the Canaan scenario somehow covers less than the Shizune scenario despite having 4x as many words.
>tfw Canaan the anime is dogshit.
>tfw people who have never played 428 praise Nasu as a great author and pay money for JPGs of waifus he wrote.

Story would have been a 10/10 for me if, instead of making a messy web, the final block was linear and everyone figured into the puzzle, one by one. A big curtain call to really emphasize the theme that we only exist because of the endless series of coincidences and the way we impact each other without even realizing it.

heroin will give you most hours

Nasu is fucking garbage

Thank god he only wrote a small portion of the game, then.

Played it for 30 minutes. Couldn't stand it. Maybe it would be better if I didn't have to stare at ugly chinks the entire time

If you have to ask just pirate it. Game's fine and I enjoyed it. If you want to support the developer then buy it I guess.

It’s one of the best visual novels ever made

10/10 game I bought it full price in 2008 and spent hundreds of hours playing it with a dictionary, can't recommend it enough

>I bought a game with a bunch of real life asians on the cover.
>What the fuck why are there so many asians?!!?!

Somehow they made CANAAN anime a spin-off of this thing

Kano's route starts meh but ends alright. Achi's just boring. But everything else is literally gold, Japs finally made a funny comedy.
Also,Minorikawa best character (with Nasubi-kun being close second).

>finally
The game is literally Japanese TV dramas. Like, that's an intended motif, you were supposed to use the Wii remote and change the channel to the next character. That's why it uses that interface and why each character has a distinct genre and style.

Minorikawa is extremely based

They did his character dirty in the end.

>game has a glossary feature
>frequently uses it to tell jokes
I loved that so much.

>Hide necessary path in one once.
>Then hide paths to bad ends in them.
>Then hide secret routes in them.
>Sprinkle the single most important plotline throughout the game using them.
This shit was stupid and I loved it.

>the Sumo wrestling TV show subplot in the glossary
>the theater troupe that actually saved the day the ending
Also, what game is picrelated referencing?

The translation is actually fantastic, it was adapted well for a very heavily Japanese work.

brother from another mother

>it's on pc
i never actually knew that....

Probably Mystery Dungeon, given it's a Chunsoft game.

Don't worry, almost no one does. It sold like shit, which is a shame, and there's only like 100 user reviews for it. Lots of people even refuse to try it out because it's niche and that it uses live action stuff.

The side cast in this is so damn good.

His actor's an Aussie.

yeah except 428 is good and canaan is trash

I only recently learned of it, how big of a role does Hironari Amano play in it?
Also, did he really betray us?

>>mfw I realized some anime I watched years ago and mostly forgot about about a basically superhuman soldier girl is a sequel to this
What? Japan is weird man...

I had to google the name, but it seems he's one of the main characters. One of the first two available so he's got a lot of screentime.

literally the first character you see in the demo

I got bored of it, by the time I got to 12-13 iirc I was only invested in the super virus story so I ended up dropping it.
I can see why people liked it though.

absolute kino

It's a well written VN, it's just so fucking boring.
