Just finished this and thought it was great, is the second one good?

Yea, not as good as the first one though.
Did you play it on Hard/Infinite Climax?
>is the second one good
>OP is a pic of the second one
Cool, any other games you would recommend? I finished the DMC franchise, thinking about trying Nier Automata
No just normal, is it worth playing on higher difficulty?
whoops
If you just play games once you will have a good time. If you play them multiple times on higher difficulties and getting good grades you will learn to hate it very quickly.
>No just normal, is it worth playing on higher difficulty?
Not that guy, but unless you are an autist when it comes to these types of games, no.
Yeah, it opens up quite a bit on higher difficulties, especially if you start using dodge offset. Watch the first 10 minutes:

On one hand the skill ceiling is lower, but on the other hand it fixes EVERY bad decision that the first game made.
God Hand is literally the greatest action game ever made, play it right fucking now.
>not playing action games on higher difficulties
I can understand not going for Pure Platinum or S ranking but you are missing out on th best parts of the game, not the case with bayo 2 though which is horribly balanced for anything past normal.
>takes out insta kill QTEs and brings color in
>Fucks up on every level otherwise
Sure fixed it
More often than not finishing games like bayo or ninja gaiden on Normal once means you just tanked the game with potions barely touching on its mechanics.
I can understand people avoiding harder difficulties when devs don't bother doing anything meaningful and simply increase the damage output and hp of your enemies. This is not the case with Bayonetta though.
The first one is more fun. The sequel is not as fun, but flashier.
Fuck all those nerds, torrent fucking Transformers Devastation right now and don't listen to anyone else.
Seriously, do yourself a favor and go play it, you won't regret it.
Devastation is honestly worth playing for the OST alone.
That's hyperbole. 2 is still a top tier action game, it's just not AS good as the first overall.
You seem to have projected on my comment.
I did play the game on higher difficulties, hence why I said that unless you are an autist for this sub-genre, don't bother.
Never used healing items or whatever on Normal either.
I get the general argument in regards to difficulty. I think that selectable difficulties should exist only in like strategy games. I do speedruns and challenge runs for many games etc.
It's just that, even though this console hack and slash (or whatever you want to call this style of games) on paper should be right up my ally, I never got passionate over it. And really don't think these games are ones where you need to dig in deeply to realize whether you like em or not. If they are your jam, you will figure it out quick, and in that case you hit the jackpot, as there are a lot of depth and complexity to the mechanics to invest time and get satisfaction out of.
But if played through the whole game, and are wondering whether the higher difficulties are worth it - them by that point most certainly not.
>Top tier action game
Its like what X-blades was to God of War for the original bayo. Its a great time on normal, and then you go to anything higher and its just a game full of cracks and problems. Going for pure plat on all missions all difficulties made me never want to play the game again, and that has never happened with any of the other top of the line action games like Bayo 1 or DMC.
Is it really that bad?
I mean Bayo1 had that missile level which is unbelievably stupid to do good at.
Maybe you should have specified that you don't like these games before passing recommendations.
