The LEGO expansion is pretty disappointing. Only a few cars and tiny map. Doesn’t really offer anything new. I guess the hotswheels dlc wasnt that much different in terms of content but I had a lot more fun with that than this.

I was pleasantly surprised with it, though it's mainly because I expected literally fucking nothing. My inner achievement whore also was satifsfied with the huge challenge grid
But yeah, the map is pretty small and only three fucking cars is laughable. The "story" is also trash.

I noticed how the only npc cars driving around the map were minis, but they're not lego, but real ones. Is that a bug?

It's nice for instant multiplayer, but I hate the washed out yellowish aesthetics.

You can disable that in the config files with no ill effects. Unless you mean the yellow in that screenshot, which is there because GT2 cars have yellow headlights.

for some fucking reason you pretty much need to play the game in singleplayer until you cycle through all four seasons, and only then they let you into online play

I have a shit load of money but I just love driving around in a riced out shitbox. C class is my favorite.

Game plays best with controllers. The wheel support I hear is not very good.

Fully relatable. The game is scenic enough for slow drives to be enjoyable, and you get more technical at lower speeds as well

Does anyone else like Horizon 3 a lot more? Toyota aside, the map was a lot more interesting to me since it wasn't just hills, grass, and rocks everywhere.

I bought Horizon 4 just to drive around in Toyota and Lexus cars. Like an idiot I didn't do any research. I just wanted to drive a 2001 Lexus is300 man fuck.

Not at all. The FH3 map had its scenic spots, but overall FH4 looks way more polished and picturesque

Nothing lol. They took out the weekly rewards from 3 so now it does fuck all.

You see other people on speed trap leaderboards and such.

I kinda wish they added an option for player names over cars to only show up during team events or games. They clutter the screen too much, but you pretty much can't play games without them.
And some way to change between automatic and manual+clutch on the fly, for drift and drag.

I like FH3 more but only because I love tropical settings and the outback. FH4 lego dlc kinda had the same vibrant atmosphere whereas the base map just felt lifeless and dull to me.

Not that user but he's right. It feels like they just phoned in 90% of the landscape in 4. Also 4 still has low-res background items.

Doesn't feel that way to me at all, in fact it feels organic. You got enough diversity without the impression that the entire map is a mishmash of different biomes squished impossible close to each other.

The lego bullshit has absolutely no place in Forza game, even tho Horizon 4 is zoomer garbage...

The problem for me isn't that its Lego its that its a really fucking half arsed expansion

The biomes might not be realistic but they at least offered variety when driving from one end of the map to the other. But what I'm talking about is more nuanced than "small biomes". In 4 I have no damn idea where in the game world I am during a race the vast majority of the time, as apposed to 3 where there were distinct environments all over the map.

Why are the cars fucking 625 points now? They were all 250 when the game launched, fuck ever buying another Forza game

because hackers have a billion forzathon points so devs increase the prices which make non-hardcore players suffer

That doesn't address the nuance part. To put it into perspective: in 3 I could tell you where in the forest I was during most races, whereas in 4 I just know that I'm in the forest. Each stretch of road was visually distinct as apposed to this game where it's just a haphazard assortment of assets with some landmarks scattered about. It's not entirely devoid of interesting environments but they aren't as pervasive as they were in 3.

What user don't you like running speed traps back and forth 500 times to earn a car?
