It really fucking is. I’m having a blast with it and I got it on launch day
hey, it's a shitty XCOM clone
Did they ever make the third world any more balanced with those teleporting ghost? I dropped it on launch day because of it
I liked it more than Odyssey.
>XCOM
so, is it a bad thing ?
yeah, probably the most underrated switch game
Actually better than xcom. The percentages make sense
picked it up 2 days ago, really enjoys it. scared that it have a short life spam tho, not a lot of hours in and already at 30%.
That soundtrack, man.
based, I enjoyed it a lot, saving the DK dlc for when I need a good time
its miles better than xcom
I think the pre-e3 leak killed its hype train. shame we could have mario+rabbids 2 by now otherwise
> they gave kirkhope a budget
Why can't games like this have a duel mode? Seems pretty straightforward to implement, and would give it potentially infinite playability.
It's pretty fun. I liked the mobility mechanics. I think they added a lot of enjoyable depth to the game and gave it a "mario-esque" feel. I especially liked combo chaining character launches and jumps together to send people across the field/in to a good vertical position.
How do you guys think that future xcom games can implement a similar vertical movement system? I feel like a game focused on being challenging can really test the limits of this type of system.
They can allow you to equip jetpacks, but they can be very rare, so if you run to a teammate who has one, you can put it on and fly away with it.
Best game of the generation for me. Crazy polished. Gorgeous. Great gameplay and balance.
There's no replayability since the battles are all crafted, but that's also why it's so much better than the usual procedurally generated trash. Thankfully the Kong DLC is nearly as long as the original game.
I can't wrap my head around this game being made by Ubisoft, and being a Rabbids game no less.
Brap it.
The Kong DLC needed 1 or 2 more characters, it was boring using the same team every time
That might be cool. I wonder how you'd do it so it doesn't look too cartoony and goofy.
Fuck Polytaku for leaking it. Miyamoto storming into the Ubisoft conference with a fucking gun would have been the hypest game reveal of all time.
Is a sequel going to happen?
I was just kidding, cuz it would probably be too goofy for xcom the way i described it. But, it could be the start of a decent idea.
