I'd recommend watching Werster's speedruns of both Stadium 1 and 2. You learn alot about the game and how it works, and how fucking retarded stadium 2 can get. The runs are both around 20 hours long, but they are really entertaining. Also they give you insight into the autism that is werster.

The stadium runs are my favorite of his because of this. The way he reacts to things going wrong can be very entertaining, but on the other hand I feel for the guy because he puts SO much time into routing these games. Seriously, werster is probably one of the best speed-run routers. He does stupid amounts of testing, and his notes are very thorough.

One of my favorite lines of his when things go wrong in stadium 2 is "THIS GAME IS FUCKED".

You know he kind of loves to torture himself when he speedruns Stadium. Last thing he has been doing has been speedrunning GLC Round 2 in the jap version and is hilarious how unlucky he can get, with the constant Thunder misses, crits and stat drops from enemies and the sort. Stadium 2 runs are really fun to watch since at least he abuses the continue glitch to not repeat the whole cup again, so the run remains on a steady pace.

no wonder Smash Bros has been so soulless.
