Party Chat on the world map is always "we need to go here"
It's more interesting in other locations or times, you find out a decent amount about the characters. Like Kiryl being afraid of heights or Torneko still having good relations with his first boss despite it being a shit job.

Because if you don’t like Toriyama’s style you’ll latch onto it and bitch about it, and assume people that like his style haven’t noticed. But people that like his style simply don’t give a shit. It’s not an inherently bad thing, and probably not the actual reason you don’t like his style. Ghibli arguably has sameface and no one complains about that. And most that like his style think that, despite a lot of the faces looking very similar, Toriyama still manages to infuse different personalities into his characters, such that Goku, Gohan, Yamcha, Four, Eight and Erdrick all look like they have subtly different personalities despite borderline identical facial features. Same goes for Trunks, Terry, Eleven and Android 17.
